how much does bb cost you??

i was curious as to how much money you guys put into ur bb? im just starting out n realise its gonna be a tough ride trying to get the funds to sustain such a hobbie/sport. my folks arent exactly generous so im having to buy most of my food and vitamins/powders not to mention the gym. all up id say my bb buget is around AU$80p/w..i might hav to start paying board soon so im gonna be pretty tight for dough..how do u guys cope??

i work and make about $180 a week which isnt too bad. i don't pay for vitamins or food and i workout in my home and at the high school i graduated from, my supps im on now set me back about $85 a month for 5lb protein NItrix and protein bars

Well i make decent money working and get paid weekly...but with buying protein shakes, my dieting food, vitamins, all of my diff. supplements, and any other extras....I have lost my left arm and have financed my first born son (who isnt here yet). Other than that not too bad!!

Reassuring to know tht someone else is in a similar situation! Was stupid enough to reject a job offer & try to make it as an artist, so am permanently skint. Budget is only about �25 a month, inc gym fees, and supplements are a bit of a luxury!! Short of taking loans from richer friends or mugging people as a sideline, there aint a lot to be done about it

for me only costs me 80 dollars a week and thats just on straight food dont take any supplements cause i dont make alot of money lol

Id say supplements were the thing that makes it a bit more pricey . I spend around �15-30 a week on foods and around �20-50 on supplements a month .
Gym fee errr I think needs to be re paid for next march which is around �350 i think ; but its worth it ; also if you consider thats less than a pound a day its not too bad.

I spend �40 a week on supps. I do sumtimes have to buy my own food...but my mother is very supportive.

i have a very supportive mother which helps me with the food and i dnt use any supps and plus i dnt go to the gym because i have most the equipment in my house so there is no need for gym fees

If you do this fulltime buying everything yourself, expect to pay at least $700 per month, if no drugs are involved.

I'm barely making it by on my $300 budget a month for food

. I'm doing KETO right now and am in a caloric deficit at the moment, and I'm still spending rediculous amounts of money on food. When everything you buy is meat, meat, meat, money goes through the roof!

nonkosher meat is cheaper than kosher meat, so ur lucky, my parents allow only kosher meat in the house, but if i eat outside they dont really care that much.

I'm actually scared to add it all up. I make around €200 a week, so thats prob around $250. So call it $1000 a month. Now if we include GYM Membership, Supps, and Food. I say it costs me around $310 a month at the VERY LEAST!
GYM and Supps alone cost around $150 a month and my mate works in his family restraunt so thats saves big on food!

I'm 16 and live with my parents and eat their food. I also eat lunch at school. Power Bars are too damn expensive ($1.50) so i never bother buying them; I just buy a Protein Shake Powder for about $9.00 that lasts me about 2 weeks!

You answered your own question. If you buy everything yourself, that's how much you should expect to pay if you're serious and not taking drugs, which could run up to an additional $500 a month for stuff teens could use. You want my rundown?

Minimum:
Food- $500
Supps- $100
Gym- $30
Tanning- $30

250 year membership
about 100 bucks ever month and a half during bulking
80 bucks every month and a half during cutting
i dont know how much food and stuff is, but i get all that stuff free

Total food costs can hardly be brought into bodybuilding costs lol, you'll be spending cash on food anyway. If you want to continue living that is. Alright you'll probably be spending less on food if you weren't bodybuilding, but still...

I'd be spending a lot less because I'd be eating half as much and I wouldn't be buying all the healthy food that costs twice as much as other food.

I live off my own bread too, but I don't buy any supps (except protein powder). My food bill runs me about 300 bucks a month and, when I bulk, I'm not doing a super-clean bulk because I don't have the amount of cash. My calories will have to come from cheap foods like whey protein, eggs, oatmeal, burritos, cereal, etc.

The Vanilla flavor is the best tasting. It also comes in choclate like every other protein shake.

It's usually cheaper (less than $9) at nearby grocery stores like H.E.B.
