How do you do it?
When I'm doing my keto diet I just make sure my daily macro %'s are right at the end of the day. I have always had good results doing that. I noticed that some people try to hit the Macro % at every meal.
Is there a preferred way of doing it?

Heck I got the best results just focusing on no carbs, Fat and protein just kind of fell into place.
The right ratio at every meal is not important though it can make it easier -- try finding a lot of foods that are already the right ratio -- like bacon and certain red meats.

just make sure u dont hav too many meals in a row without a substantial amount of fat, otherwise u may for a short time period, or for part of the day be in glucogenesis

Ok, thats what I thought. It's just that during the day I might have a meal that is a lot higher in protein then fat and then follow it up a little later with a snack that was broccoli, cucumbers and celery with a high fat veggie dip. So hardly any protein in that meal. Just wanted to make sure that it was ok....which I thought it was.
Thanks

Read the labels. I am sure some do, its all in what you buy. I have found some bleu cheese dressing with 0 carbs, and right next to it another bleu cheese with 10g carbs..

When I make eggs, I use heavy cream. It has I think 1g or so carb in it, but I stay around 20 a day so one extra won't hurt. No milk or light cream for me though, way too many carbs

When I am hungry, I eat. I just make sure I eat fat and protein at each of my meals. Protein by itself can be too insulinogenic for me.
At the end of a month or so, if I haven't lost weight, I'll eat less, but this hasn't happened yet.

The veggie dip I use is 1 gram of carbs per serving. Here is a link to cream. This is for one cup and only 3.3grams of carbs. I only use a tablespoon in my coffee so its just a fraction of that.

I count everything - cals, fats, protein and carbs - to make sure I get enough protein and fats, and to make sure my carbs are properly controlled. Anal, yes, but that's the only way I can stay on track
