Here is a little basic information about me...
I am a freelance writer/ stay-at-home mother of two little ones and I got really into fitness, health and lifting after the birth of my first child. I was either skinny-fat, or a little chubby pretty much my entire life and after some advice from my DH, I decided to educate myself and learn how to get into shape. After a couple of years (and another child) I wanted to take my training to the next level. I found a trainer and started training for my first figure competition. Physically, it was a challenge to say the least, but mentally, it was brutal! I have competed in a few shows since then, my latest in an NPC show in June 2007. Since then I have been bulking, working hard and experimenting with different supps. I am now ready to challenge myself again and start a cut with this kick ass stack!

Day 1: December 18, 2007

So I began my stack this morning and had a terrific workout! I started sweating during the warm up! Here are the details so far. I will post meals later.

Workout: Legs
w/u: 4 sets of squats- 20lbs,30,40,40

Leg Press targeting glutes: 12@90lbs, 10@180, 10@200, 8@200
Leg Press targeting quads: 10@200lbs, 6@200; 8@180; 10@90
Leg Press targeting calves: One legged- 10@90lbs, 10@90, 8@90, 8@90 each leg
Leg Extentions: 10@40lbs; 8@55; 8@55lbs; 10@40; 12@25
Lower cables targeting hams & glutes: 10@10lbs x4 each leg
Lower cables targeting outer glutes: 10@10lbs x4 each leg
Seated Calves: 15@65lbs 4x
Stretches

*So far I am feeling pretty good- good energy, not tired (which I always am!) I have started out low with the dosages to assess my tolerance.

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to detail my meals for the day...

Meal 1: Protein Pancakes (2 scoops of American Nutrition whey, 3 tbs of egg whites & 1 tbs of whole wheat pancake mix)
Meal 2: Post workout protien shake (Dynamatize)& a banana
Meal 3: Brown rice, tunafish & green beans
Meal 4: 2 brown rice cakes w/ natty pb & protein shake
Meal 5: Homemade turkey chili w/ brown rice
Meal 6: Not yet, but probably a protein shake

Stack:
DCP (1), LX (1) 7:30am
Scorch (1) 8:15am

DCP (1), LX (1) noon

DCP (1) 6:00pm

Overall:
I felt good today. Hardcore workout, already feelin DOMS in the glutes. I am going to add another LX at the 6pm dose tomorrow and maybe another Scorch at noon, depending on how I am feeling. I was still pretty hyped today so I did not want to overdo it.

I would have liked to have done more but this was the best I could get in today!

I did not get to eat as much as I would have liked today- grocery day so I was out of everything!

Mood: I felt kinda grumpy today. I got irritated easily- maybe cause I was hungry! Enery was pretty good- I could have spent a lot longer in the gym if I had the time. I plan on hitting it earlier tomorrow so I can do a little extra cardio. I won't do extra legs tomorrow as I still have some DOMS from Tuesday. Tomorrow is my FAVORITE- shoulders- and cardio.

Will be posting before pics soon- just gotta download.

*I use three different inclines on these, first at 6 on the bench, then 7, then 8. Aiming to hit different parts of the top of my delts.

Eating has been erratic today- I picked on little things, but never really ate a lot- I did have cookie dough, though...

Mood: I felt weird today. I had a good workout but again, easily irritated. Didn't help that the dog knocked over my salad then ate it and the little' uns are going apesh&t cause it's almost Christmas. Oh yeah, the cookie was a nice moment of weakness! Good news is got the before pics up. Oh and even if it sounds strange, I "feel" the stack working its magic.


Thanks to all that are watching. Yes, it does sound creepy but it makes me feel looooved!


Dino: I am hoping to just tighten up, drop my BF% into the teens and basically have more of an "athletic look."

Question-- I know sometimes when fat is being burned that supposedly "dimples" come out on back of thighs-- is this really true?? If so I hope it goes away soon b.c I can't have it!!

Dosing has been pretty consistant...

DCP- 30 minutes before first morning meal (2)
30 minutes before mid day meal (2)
30 minutes before evening meal (2)

LX- same as DCP (1) going to move this up to 2 soon
same as DCP (1)
30 minutes before bed (1)

Scorch- During first meal of the morning (1)

I have felt pretty consistant energy throughout the stack so far. Sometimes, not sure why, I feel more hyped up than other times. Maybe depending on what remains in my stomach? I am able to accomplish a ton during the day, but I can get irritable easily. Also, I have not had any trouble sleeping, both during a midday nap here and there, and during the night.

My hunger has been the same, no decreasing or increasing. I have craved healthier foods lately, mostly salads, though. (Granted the holiday foods hanging around all look damn yummy!) Libido has been okay, nothing special.

Mostly I am hyped to get into the gym. I am always ready workout but I am especially hyped these days. Strength is the same but the excitement to lift is just off the charts. Today as my off day and I feel like I have been out of the gym FOREVER!! Thank God tomorrow is a lifting day!!!

I did not log meals last night b/c I was at a party so here they are for Day 6

Meal 5 & 6: Party foods- shrimp cocktail, chili, goodies

No workout- day off


Day 7: December 24, 2007

Okay so this holiday thing is making it TOUGH to keep routine & meals in check!! I'm trying the best I can!!

Workout: Bis, Tris & Cardio
w/u 20lbs bar curls 2x10

incline curls 10@12lbsx4
Straight bar curls on cables 8x20lbsx3, 8x20 drop 5x15
Pressdowns 8@35lbs, 6@40lbs (PR!!!!), 8x35, 10x30
Reverse Pressdowns 10x30lbsx3, 8x30 drop 5x25
Dips 4x15

Cardio: 15 minutes of intervals on stair stepping machine
12 minutes of treadmill

Totally psyched about the PR for pressdowns!! YAY!! I added in tris today b.c I felt like lifting more after bis were done. Felt GREAT to be in the gym today, especially since I have to miss it tomorrow!


Meal 1: Egg whites & farina
Meal 2: protein shake post workout
Meal 3: Tunafsh & brown rice
Meal 4-6: Not eaten yet but hopefully will be somewhat clean!

Stack:
DCP- 2 30 minutes before breakfast
2 30 minutes before lunch
2 30 minutes before dinner

LX- 1 same as DCP
1 same as DCP
1 before bed (30 minutes)

Scorch- 1 with breakfast
1 around 2:45pm



So I am feeling pretty good with the supps-- I upped the LX and Scorch as you can see above. I have a stupid cold so that is buggin' but otherwise I am good. I like the added energy of the stack but sometimes I do feel a little cloudy-headed.
