Ready to Clean Bulk, Need Comments!
OK here's the deal:
I'm ready to go on a clean bulk, but need to know where to focus my energies mostly. I do not have any pics of my legs or back, but the legs are probably my strong point, so they dont need a terrible amount of work.
I am 23 years old, 190 lbs, been working out for about 1.5 years now.
I'm thinking that my arms are pretty good, but I could use some help in the chest, shoulders and abs department. Comments please!!
John

also...
I also figure I should add that my best lift is bench, where I can press 330 lbs for 1 rep. My others stats are in my profile if that helps any evaluation.
Thanks!
John

yes
Hand to the bible, I touch and go on the bench, unlike most people in the gym. I used to compete in bench competitions when i was younger, so I know a thing or two about proper form. Does this mean you think my chest is a weak point on my body as well?
I currently do everything you say, incline DB's, flyes, dips, but my chest size doesn't seem to increase much. Would this have anything to do with the reps that I do? I'd say I usually pyramid down 12, 10, 6 or something like that. Should I try keeping it above 12 reps? And what is fascia stretching?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also it's impossible for us to tell whether your back or legs are lacking when you don't post any pics of them. Learn a few bodybuilding poses and post pictures doing those poses. Include back and leg pics. Until then this thread is useless.

Awesome!
Looking great so far! For what viewpoints you have given us in the pictures, you could definitely bulk. Your body has a good expression for a 1.5 year effort; and if you keep a clean bulking diet, you can become beastly in no time. Perhaps even maintain the body fat you have now, while gaining muscle! =O Woot! Keep that protein intake high!
Good luck bulking!

back
This is the best pic I have of my back...sorry it's kind of crappy, but I think you can see that my lats are un-impressive. How would I go about bringing up one particular body part?
John
Oh, and I take in approx 250g of protein per day. Thanks for the encouragement Deity.

Maybe to increase your chest size, try doing more of a 3 - 6 rep range.. for your back what kind of routine are you using on it? Cause for 1.5 years it seems like you could have made more progress there with a solid routine..

I used to always do low reps on chest, I'm talkin like 8, 6, 4, or even 6, 4, 2 or something along those lines. I was doing that for more of a powerlifting workout. I've heard that most bodybuilders work in the higher rep range. Is this correct?
For back workout, I must admit I did kind of slack for a long time. Right now I do 3 sets of each exercise, usually do pullups, pulldowns, low cable row, DB rows, BB rows, and things of this nature. I change week to week, and I also vary wide grip vs. narrow grip. Usually a total of 12 sets. I have kind of backed away from doing deadlifts the past 6 months, which might be affecting things also. Thanks for the response, iliketojuggle.
Shredd3r, I hear ya, there is one kid in my gym who does only half range of motion on EVERY exercise he does because he says it is "more effective that way". Some people have no clue. And as for your comment about bulking, I just think that if I put on 15-20 lbs of muscle in the right places, I could truly reach my ultimate goal for size and physique. Thanks for the comment.

As for back id just say do heavy deadlifts, they will sort out ya back and lats
