Week # 5 Max-OT Routine

Weight - 197Lbs.(I might hit 200Lbs yet)

Time in Gym - 45 minutes

Body Parts - Biceps and Abs

Had another great one today, going in to work at 4 a.m took it's toll but I was ready once I hit the gym. Wrist is still hurting but the INZER wraps are helping alot.

B/B Curls

Hammer Curls

Was a great week, the best week so far on the Max-OT Routine. Looking forward to starting the BFL challenge the first week in february.

Week # 6 Max-OT Routine

Weight - 196Lbs. (slightly lowering calories this week)

Time in Gym - 45 minutes

Body Parts - Legs, Calves


Today was the best leg workout I've had on the Max-OT Routine. After last weeks leg workout my knees were killing me and I was ready to start a lighter routine for legs. Today I soaked my knees in Bio-Freeze and warmed up a little longer and it really helped. We adjusted the depth of our leg presses and it really made a difference. I felt great after todays workout and very anxious for next weeks leg workout. Still not lifting a ton of weight but making steady gains each week. Now looking forward to chest tuesday.

Had one hell of a workout today, the best chest workout so far on the Max-OT routine. Everything is starting to feel light I love that feeling. My wrist is getting better as well. I give today a solid 9/10. Have four more weeks on the Max-OT routine so it's gonna be balls to the wall. Then I'm going to have a week to go light and play around maybe max-out on a few things, then the following week I'm taking off. On february 4th, my training partner and I are starting our Body-For-Life Challenge at least that's the plan as of right now, we're both anxious to get started. Going to try the 110's on incline one more time before I get off the program hoping not to bomb like last time, just going to try to get some more reps in on the 100's to get prepared for it that 10Lb jump makes a big difference.

lol, yeah it's still a bit of both my training partner and I are starting the Body-For Life february 4th but were both ready now. Yeah we're gonna finish up 4 more weeks on the Max-OT Routine then take a week of then start the BFL, or at least that's the plan as of right now. You'll surpass me on the bench in no time.

Had another great workout today was able to go up on most of the exercises. V-Bar Pulldowns felt great today. On D/B rows we had to take a wrist wrap and tie a 5lb D/B to the 120's for our set of 125Lb. rows. 120 is as high as we got All in all couldn't have asked for a better workout my wrist was feeling pretty good today as well.

Had a great workout today, went up again on most exercises. I decided to switch B/B Military Press with Machine Military Press today. Going heavy with the B/B Military was killing my shoulder. I got a great pump with the Machine today and it didn't hurt my shoulder at all. I'll switch back to B/B Military when I start my new routine. Triceps were fried at the end of the workout, I think my partner an I have peaked out on the weight for Tri's especially on nose-breakers we were seeing spots after those today:weightlift: Anyway was a great workout looking forward to Biceps tom. taking a half a day of vacation so I'll get to workout earlier.

Felt great after todays workout, joints are holding up fairly well considering the abuse there recieving and my wrist seems to be getting better I would say it's back to 90% now.

Week # 6 Max-OT Routine

A good end to this weeks workouts, today was pretty quick with just ahving to do Bi's and abs. I switched B/B curls today for seated incline curls because the B/B curls are still aggravating my wrist. Anyway was a great workout, and looking forward to next week, I'm off work so it's gonna be some balls to the wall training next week.

Week # 7 Max-OT Routine

Holy cow it's soo much easier to workout when I don't have to go to work, today was a great workout 9.5/10. Going to flip chest and leg day this week. This was the best I've felt on chest day since I started back in february. Should have brought the camera today oh well i'll get it next time. If the rest of the week is gonna be like this it's gonna be one heck of a week.

Well I got a bit off track this week, after missing tuesday and wednesday I'm having to double up today and friday. I know I shouldn't do this because it is some major overetraining. I cut the shoulder/Tri workout a little short but still got a great pump. Friday I'll have to do Legs/Bi's, which should be easier than today. Oh Hell Yeah!!!Today was a 10/10!!! If only ever workout could be this good. I blew my old decline PR out of the water today. I also completed one of my biggest goals while on this routine today and that was to Incline the 110Lbs D/B's I was excited got two sets for 5. Just a few weeks ago I bombed out on them and couldn't get 1, but I made up for it today. Now looking forward to legs tuesday! With only 3 more weeks left on this routine I'm not going to risk getting an injury, so I'm prob just gonna back off a little on the squats and be happy with what I got. Another great workout, only two more weeks on Max-OT so my workout partner and I are going to make them count. Everything is feeling great I'm about peaked out of most of the stuff but there a few exercises I'm gonna try to jump up on in weight before we finish, mainly deadlifts I've been very cautious with these and am feeling more comfortable with these. I think I've got a lot of room for improvement in this area. I'm pretty much on track with the goals I had for the Max-OT Routine and still have 2 more weeks to go. We plan on going balls to the wall to finish up the routine, but also really concentrating on not getting an injury this last few weeks so we'll be ready the first of February for Body-For-Life.

Had another great one today, should have taken some vids today but my workout partner and I were in the zone today and didn't want to hinder our workout by taking the time to do the vids maybe next week. Shoulders felt great today got a great pump. Triceps went great as well, I'm holding off from Nose-Breakers for one more week maybe two as they still hurt my bum wrist pretty bad. Substituted Machine dips today for the nose-breakers and they felt great! If the next two weeks go like this week has so far it's going to be a great ending to the Max-OT Routine for my training partner and I.

Week # 8 Max-OT Routine

Friday January 4th

Weight - 195.5 Lbs.

Time in Gym - 30 minutes

Body Parts - Biceps, Abs


Had a pretty good workout today, was short and sweet only having to do Bi's and abs. The wrist is still a little tender so I didn't try to over do it on the curls. All in all this was probably the best week so far on this routine, hopefully going to finish up the next two weeks on a high note.

Had a great Leg workout today, we went over time wise quite a bit but it was worth it. I've been really looking forward to these leg workouts, really like doing it on monday now after I got use to it. We're kicking it up a notch these last two weeks on the routine knowing it'll be a good while before we go this heavy again.

Well today was an off day. I've had several really good workouts and it's a bummer when ya finally have a bad one. It was still above average but not as good as last week. I did okay on everything but Incline I really bombed out on it today. I was pleased with my decline today though. Anyway it was a fair workout but I expect more next week.

Had a great workout today, went up on just about every exercise. I'm just getting burned out with all the heavy weight, I'm just about peaked out on everything. I love this routine but I'm definelty ready for next week to be over and get back on a higher volume routine and get ready for summer. I can tell it's taking quite a bit longer to recup the last two weeks. Looking forward to finiashing up next week then taking my week off then it'll be wide open again.

Wow had a suprisingly great workout today, felt like crap at work but once we hit the gym and warmed up things picked up in a hurry. We demolished the seated dip machine, had it maxed out and added all the extra weight we could and still got more than our 6 reps, 15 on on out last one. It felt great!!
