Hello, I am a 15 year old teen. I weigh 109 lbs. and I am 5'8". I have protein intakes everyday that range from 150-170 grams a day. These are spread out in increments of about 30-35 grams per meal. 5 meals a day. Protein makes up 30-35% of my caloric intake a day. I think I may be taking in too much protein. so that is a little over 1.5g/lb. which seems to be the max someone of my experience should be taking in. So the question is, am I taking too much protein? Its kinda hard for someone of my weight to keep with the 1.5g/lb. when a little piece of chicken has 30g and two barley fill me up. thanks for the info.
