Hey guys,
I had a SLAP tear repaired in September 2010. I did physical therapy for 4-5 months. Because I was focused on other things, I only began lifting again in August 2011. Since then, I've very gradually increased my lifting load. I'm beginning to return to 60-70% of my pre-injury strength level (used to easily bench 135 in sets of 10, now i struggle with sets of 6, used to do sets of 80 pushups and now do sets of 50). I've begun doing pullups again, too.
Unfortunately, my injured shoulder still feels a little weak. Also, when I do pullups or dips, I feel pain in my shoulder. Should I be concerned? Or should I rest it, return and push through it?
Thanks.
