Yup, no surprise at all.
My biggest surprise is they said only 80 players were found. (If I heard them correclty)
I figured the number would be much higher with that kind of money on the line.

the players need to give in now. random blood samples taken from you without warning needs to be the new standard. you wanna make millions, well then you gotta be willing to sacrifice a few rights

Baseball is a joke? NFL players are much bigger and stronger. What does that tell you about the NFL? Let's not even get into professional bodybuilding.

this is going to get really bad.....
When his name was first reported they made it seem like a random mentioning in the report with no real link to steroid use.
NOW its reported that his trainer claims he gave Clemens steroids and that clemens obtained steroids from other trainers as well during his time in Toronto through his stay in new york. The happiest man in america right now is Barry Bonds

Not a huge surprise about Clemens, it's been rumored for years. I'll be looking for other names too - such as Alex Rodriguez (I hope not!), Sammy Sosa, Frank Thomas, Jim Thome, Mark Prior, etc.
Sh*t's going to hit the fan at 2:00 eastern time.

You forgot the Chargers. Shawn Merriman was actually stupid enough to get caught by the weak testing policy.

Sweet. So Fat Roger will not only go down in history as a fat traitor who was booed off the mound at Yankee Stadium in his last game, but he'll also go down as a steroid abusing fat traitor who was booed off the mound at Yankee Stadium in his last game.

ok cool pal, do you realize how much more football players put into strength training? you play almost everynight in baseball throughout the year. youre gonna sit here and tell me vernon davis is on roids when the guy spends every single day in the gym, holds all the records at his college. alot of the big guys in the nfl are documented gym rats.
steroids in sports have nothing to with size. they have to do with people like roger being able to recover from injuries way faster and playing like 20 seasons.
dont bring football into this its not even close to baseball, not even close

I would LOVE it if someone like Cal Ripkin showed up.
Not that I have a problem with Cal, I just think the whole Bonds thing was a witch hunt and they would have never done that to a well liked player.

I was a strength & conditioning intern at a small college, pal. Many of the players there were using and they had no chance to make the NFL. The players were using sources from D1 schools. May I ask what is your real-life experience with this other than taking the word of an NFL football player. Do you really believe these football players would tell you the truth? I suppose you believed David Boston before, heh?
Steriods are used as performance-enhancers. Don't you think added size can be an advantage for a defensive lineman? It helps them not get pushed around in run defense. Sorry, I'm not talking about them wanting to look like Ronnie Coleman.
I will bring football into this because your post is very uninformative. Peformance-enhancing use greater in MLB...lmao!!! That's a good one.

Mitchell has a financial interest in the boston red sox... I highly doubt you'll see any significant red sox on the list, explains why so many yankees however!

Ive known Clemens was on it for a long time now. Ive been saying it forever, bout time they actually investigated that little b*tch. If anything the guy is the prototypical stereotyped steroid abuser.
Im definately interested in seeing the other names though. I have some hunches about some guys, but its going to be fun about the ones that are a surprise to me. I can gaurantee you no Braves will be on that list though. (minus Rocker that is) Our organization is run right.

No kidding. I have a friend who is a nutritionist for a D1 athletics program. There is a reason guys are big and jacked and look like thoroughbred racehorses (Eq), not fat out of shape slobs. Look at the stats of OL/DL from 15-20 yrs ago vs. today. OL/DL from that period couldn't even make it as TE today. Then look at the speeds those big bodies are moving at.
