Cans of mixed nuts (some people prefer peanut butter but the mixed nuts are easier to travel with for meals on the go)

Pretty much all you need although other people may add more things (whey, oatmeal, other veggies and fruits, etc), but this list works for me on my budget.
The red meat and salmon are not usual staples but I try to buy them if they are on sale or something at the store. Most of my red meat comes in cans of chilli though, hah.
