During a cut, I have always done the following to stay as far away from catablism as I can:
Increased Protien
Midnight casien shake
BCAA (mega dose)
I am now looking to shed a couple lbs. of fat. I only need to lose about 7 lbs. but I want to stay as anabolic as I can and keep as much muscle as I can.
Wondering, what your favorite supplememts are for holding on to your muscle?
any why?

nice decision
seriously tho, with the three things you listed, unless you are way below maintenance calories, you should have no problem at all retaining muscle mass
find your base metabolic rate, subtract 250 calories and start from there... worst thing you can do is shock your body into STORING fat by dropping calories too much and too fast
best of luck!Gaspari Nutrition Rep and Overall BAMF

I really think a solid creatine formula is a good idea for retaining muscle on a cut. IMO, SyntheSIZE is perfect for this as it will help you keep your strength up, while giving you the nutrient partitioning benefits to make the most of what you ARE eating.

Currently I am doing EC + MassFX/Hyperdrol.
Along with my regular protein, creatine, fish oil... I wanted to add something more to make sure I can retain as much as possible.
So obviously both of these would be great but I don't really wanna spend more than I already have... do you think I would see better results adding Lean Xtreme or Xtend to this mix?

if you wanna try somethin new you could look into ecdysterone, I think Marc from Scivation liked it while on a cut, may be worth while if you have the cash and curiosity

Lean Xtreme would probably help you drop weight quicker, but I think Xtend or Purple Wraath would help you preserve more muscle personally. I would go with the Xtend if it was out of LX or Xtend since it doesn't look like losing fat is a top priority judging by your pictures.

The most important factor in preserving muscle while cutting is your diet. Be sure to pay close attention to the amount of calories you require and maintenance and lower your calories slowly from there. Dropping calories too rapidly will undoubtedly result in a loss of muscle.
Supplements certainly do help to preserve muscle while cutting. I have really enjoyed my results with amino acids while cutting. Look into products like Core ABC (my current favorite), SciVation Xtend, and Controlled Labs Purple WRAATH. Lean Xtreme has also gotten a ton of great feedback. Also, as others have mentioned, ecdysterone seems to have some merit. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

hi dexterium, one question for you all the way from switzerland: i'm thinkin of gettin' anabolic pump, recreate, extend and supercissus for my next stack. i already use torrent post-workout( i've got 2 big tubs), i'm on a cuttin' diet, don't use a fat-burner at the moment( i take green tea caps, cla,r-ala and fish oil). would you reccomend this stack reagardin' my age(52)? i train hard and my diet is VERY clean also i'm 5'6 and half, 163 pounds, bodyfat around 8-9, ectomorph. also how should i take anabolic pump with torrent? thanks
