How many R and D staff is usually in a supplement company? One or two? Do those guys even have Ph.Ds? It seems like any one who took a biochem course, did some more work can be qualified as R and D in a supp company. Aren't most research published on PubMed, Medline, etc...?

Most supplement companies are marketing companies. They don't always make their own product, other companies make the product or they source it from larger manufacturers and just market the products.
Rep system sucks, we all agree, the only ones who really use it are idiots who think it makes a difference
