Bulgarian split squat it is. After re-agravating an old HS Squat maxing injury which never was treated 22 years ago, today I finally came to grips with the fact that I will probably not be doing any more free squats. I feel like it is a disk problem, at least from all that I have read. I had a great workout with split squats last time I did them, but my ego got the best of me and I am paying for it. Thank God it wasn't the way it used to be otherwise I would be in bed for the next 3 days having 4 ibuprofen every 8 hours, icing my back and almost crawling to the bathroom. Important lesson to be learned, there is nothing you can add externally to help an internal injury, not in my case any way, and most importantly ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!
