How do I lose fat in my stomach and love handle area. I have tried everything from dieting to you name it? What's the best way to get that lean six pack look?

Forget "dieting". Dieting along will make thing worse in the long run. You cut your calories and sure you will loose some fat and some muscle, but before long your body will adapt and reduce its Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) and those losses will come to a halt. If you go back to your regular caloric intake, you can now expect to restore that lost weight with fat and then some because of the muscle loss you have incured. Anyway the point is forget "dieting" alone
The "holy trinity" is the combination of resistance training, proper nutrition and cardio. The resistance training and cardio will promote higher metabolism or TDEE and minimize muscle loss while nutrition can be tailored to keep you at a slight caloried deficit to keep the weight coming off. Smaller more frequent meals will also help minimize fat storage and promote higher TDEE.
To get that 6-pack you need ab muscles and reduced body fat so you can see those muscles under the skin/fat. You cannot spot reduce fat levels at the stomach, but you can work those abs muscles. Just something to keep in mindLast edited by TurboGuy; 10-13-2005 at 11:07 AM.
