Many of you have argued that symmetry is important in attractiveness, but what about non symmetrical faces. Many blacks and asians especially do not have symmetrical faces naturally, or it isn't as predominant in those races SO how do you rate attractiveness of those type of faces. Similar factors?

Most people in general don't have symmetrical faces regardless of ethnicity. As long as you aren't scarred or terribly ugly then most girls won't mind.

HOWEVER, you have your terminology wrong.

Symmetry implies that both sides of your face are exactly the same. This means you don't have one eye bigger than another, a deviated septum, one ear lower than the other, etc.

What you are referring to is called BALANCE of the facial features.

However, since I only know about how beauty works from a Caucasian standpoint, I cannot tell you what makes a black man good-looking or not. I assume it is the same for Caucasians, however. Strong chin, square jaw (blacks can have this too, and it's VERY common in Asians), Strong brow (black guys have white men beat in this department), deep set eyes (okay, white guys beat everyone in this), long nose (white guys win again), high cheekbones (blacks and Asians have higher cheekbones than whites), fuller lips (blacks and Asians win again).

Seems to me that every race has some feature that makes them attractive. Whites have the long, straight noses, deep set eyes, and square chin. Blacks guys have the strong brow, wider nose, darker skin, and fuller lips. Asian guys have the square jaw and high cheekbones, and full lips.

However it is possible for a person of either race to have ALL of these features. but generally speaking none of them have all of the features that would make them very attractive. Rarely do you see a thin lipped black guy or a white guy with high cheekbones. Even in mixed people the chance doesn't increase.

So take pride in that you don't have to go tanning and that girls want your lips on their vagina.

very very very very verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry few people have true absolute symmetry. Hell, even George Clooney has one eye brow that is higher than the other, a nose that is slightly crooked (though it is very slight)

Yeah, my face has the same symetry as yours. My right eyeborw is higher, and when I raise my eyebrows the lines on my forehead overlap and are not even or symetrical. I'm white, btw.

I wear contacts sometimes but glasses is my style I guess that I'm comfortable with. I'm aware some girls like it some don't but meh.

you look normal to me. symetrical doesn't always mean having your face in alignment it could mean blemishes and acne or scars.
