Question SpLiT vs FuLL BoD WorKouT?

Hey I'm new here and just started training. Its been years since I trained and worked out. In the past I used to go to the gym bout every other day and do a full body workout, I got pretty good gains. Anyway I've heard a lot of ppl say split workout is best because you focus on each muscle groups on different days which will give ya more gains. Is that true? I workout now 3 times per week, Mon, Weds, and Fri. Any suggestions would be great. BTW, my goal is to get really really big...Ronnie Coleman freaky big ha ha. I have trouble gaining muscle mass and when I lose weight I'm ripped but skinny...seems like I cant gain muscle without excess fat, anyways any and all suggestions would be much appreciated...thanks.

eat. And when bulking your gonna gain alittle fat. its ok. also if your just starting out I would try a fullbody or upper/lower style at first. just me and my 2 cents.

I would suggest Rippetoes in order to build up a base of strength. Later on you can move to a bodypart split.

Also, eat as much as you can. Really.
