USDA Nutritional Info Site
I think this site should have pretty much every food listed:

This has helped me...
Huge fan of www.calorieking.com. It has most foods available as well as a bunch (and I mean the most complete that I've seen!) of fast-food/dinner joints. Check it out.

One of the best nutrition articles you will ever see
http://www.howstuffworks.com/food.htm
or if that link does not work (but it should)........try.....
http://home.howstuffworks.com/food.htm
I don't care how much knowledge you have on nutrition and stuff (I have a ton), you will learn something from this site. It's got a ton of info in this article and a ton more. It's long but worth it.
And for those interested, they got an article on why we fart

Chi_Town thanks for making this and for copying my post of how food works and the farting. A bigger credit would have been nice but I'll take the size 1 font subject line.
And my original source for caloric info has not been posted yet.

You can track your daily food intake and see what is in most foods.

Check this tool out. You can make a chart out of every food you want and then print it out. I keep a chart posted on my fridge for reference. This is a great tool.

Great idea---I know I'll get bumped----but it's really related I think
Please think of your europeen friends in europe, who needs those infos in grams-kilos, liters,etc...
Not cups and pounds....
Would be so cool that I don't have to go through converting everything, from cups to liters, and kilos to pounds. And got through all the links above.
When someone knows one of the many links mentionned above that will be in kilos,etc...as well, I would be so happy, if I could have it mentionned.
Thanks!
God!!!!---all this calculation on keto is harder than the diet itself.
(i'm on my 2nd week...)

Carb counter website
Don't know if this was mentioned and don't want to wade thru all the replies, but I find this a great source for nutritional info (and for those in Europe, it does give info in grams)
http://www.carb-counter.org/
The only downside is that fat is given when you click on the food. The fat is per 100 grams, so you have to do some calculating for other quantities. I frequently use it for veggies.

I agree and have been using Calorie King's software for two years now.
I recommend everyone try it out. You get a 60 day free trial. It has a drag and drop food log where you can enter portion sizes. You can also add your own foods, though it lists over 60k foods including all the fast foods. It has charts and graphs to document water intake, workouts, calories, fats, carbs, proteins, sodium etc. plus you can customize these charts.
In short, it is the most powerful software i have found yet.
Also you can get a PDA version too!
