Whey protien isolate..recommend
I've almost run out of whey protien isolate powder and I'm thinking of trying a different kind; one that is a lot better tasting, and is lactose free. Does anyone here know of something to recommend?
thanks in advance

Isopure
Isopure by Nature's Best is what I've used for years. It's available in regular, low carb, zero carb, and mass. It tastes great as well, IMO. Order the economy size otherwise it's pretty costly.

Ergopharm's GF-Pro doesn't mix very well. I would recommend *********'s Nytrowhey Extreme; it comes in flavors like caramel, blueberries and cream, apple pie a la mode, and some others. The taste is really good and it has 600 mg of arginine AKG [per scoop] in the mix

I have a few medical conditions that limit my muscle growth. If anybody suggests I'm a n00b because of my weight you will have negs for life.

Allmax Isoflex has the highest protein yield of the products mentioned thus far. And the taste is really good, my fav's are Stw and PB Choc. No Isolate will ever be lactose free. Companies that claim lactose free can do so by being under a certain accepted level of lactose in their product. You want to go with a company that has the highest protein yield per scoop which will lead to less lactose.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/all/iso.html
Allmax Isoflex - 27g of protein per 30g scoop = 90% protein
NB Isopure - 50g of protein per 62g (2 scoops) = 80% protein
Ergo GF Pro - 23g of protein per 27.5g scoop = 83.6% protein
MRM Whey Pumped - not an isolate
********* Nytrowhey - not sold on BB.com but 23g of protein per 26g scoop = 88.4% protein
With Allmax Isoflex, you get taste and quality. Good luck with your choice!
For more info go to www.Isoflex.ca

You should take something for that cold buddy! Over the years there have been many mislabelling issues with their Nectar. Their scoop size has come out on sites and on products anywhere from 25-28g. The actual scoop size has always been 27g. After searching many sites and seeing anywhere from 25-28 listed I went straight to the source, the company itself SI03 Inc.
Click on the link and you will see Nectar listed as 23g of protein per 27g scoop = 85% protein.

Thanks for pointing out about that. I never realized that you can't really trust some product that something written in the level not necessarily true.
thanks people for the input.

x2 Isopure,
I can't take the stuff by itself cause I don't like the taste that much. I'll combine it with a little bit of Syntha 6 Cookies N Cream to add taste to the Isopure Cookies N Cream. My brother takes the Isopure Cookies N Cream with Milk for taste. And two of my buddies use the Isopure Chocolate by itself, becuase they say the taste is the best of the Isopures, but I'm not really a fan of chocolate protein powder.

2lbs of Allmax Isoflex seems a bit much for $36+$6 s&h. 2.2lbs of *********'s Nytrowhey Extreme Caramel, Apple Pie a la mode, or Blueberry Cream is $22.50+$6 s&h.
