I am on a VERY VERY strict diet to lose weight. I started going back to the gym and my starting weight was 196 lbs.
I am down to 189 lbs.
How many grams of protein do I need a day?

I usually just shoot for 200 grams per day, regardless of diet/goal. Then again, I REALLY like chicken breast. You could probably eat as little as 150 or as much as 300, depending on the rest of your macros.
