Anybody know how safe it is to keep raw chicken breasts in the fridge up to a week before cooking it? I noticed on the label that it says "Best use or freeze by <some date in the future>", so this kind of implies that "yes" you can keep raw breasts in the fridge for a week without danger of food poisoning. Comments?
