I don't know his routine, but I know he did MANY sets and reps.
He used to start out on squats at about 220 lbs I think, for about a hundred reps, and with little to no rest work his way up to 600+ for reps, then go all the way back down to where he started.
I also read somewhere after he would finish leg extensions the station he was sitting at would be on the opposite side of the gym from where he started.
Another story is at the bottom of his squat, on his way up he yelled, "I DON'T WANT NO ****ING ZANE LEGS!" while Zane was standing by him.

So many stories and all make him sound like he busted his ass in the gym, Im sure he has. If you go on youtube theres some vids of him squating I think.

Well in that pic he looks even bigger than he was, I think the way it was shot and perhaps the lighting had that effect, but with Reeves that was so impressive was how balanced he was.. nothing was really bigger than the other, everything tied into the next muscle perfectly.. definetly a very asthetic athlete.. very pleasing to the eye, like he was cut from stone.. And those guys back then worked hard to achieve those physiques.. no juice, just hard hard work.. and with Reeves and many others it obviously payed off.. I think I would've really loved to have been alive back then and trained around guys like that.. the sun, the beach, good time, no stresses, liftin', girls, get'n parts in surfer/beach movies.. yeah bra', sounds like a really cool era if ya ask me.
