Colonoscopy
I will be having a colonoscopy done on Monday. If anyone has had one done before, you know that I have to take a laxative before the procedure. Anyway currently I am taking X-Factor and I was wondering if I should take it the day before the procedure and after the procedure.
If anyone has had it done before: Will I be able to lift the next day?

Why do you have to get a colonoscopy? Is it just a routine thing?

We'll 3 weeks ago I had blood on the exterior of my ****. It wasn't something too serious, but the doctor recommends that I get it checked, just in case. My mom is a physician so she of course is making sure that I get it done. Last week when I got back home fromcollege I was able to eat more fruits and vegetables. The blood stopped, I really think that it comes down to my diet. I eating as much fiber as I needed to.

How far into your X-Factor cycle are you? I really have to say that I'd recommend stopping it completely until you find out what is going on. Better safe than sorry.

I would stop using AA prior to the colonoscopy. You should be ok starting it the day after the procedure, but I would make your doctor aware that you have been supplementing with it. I've undergone them a few times - the next day I was always fine, but I still took it easy for a couple days just to be sure.

This sounds like ulcerative colitis, which is an inflammatory condition, or maybe hemorrhoids. I would stop using xfactor, and also tell the doctor you have been supplementing with AA(even if he may be completely ignorant)
If they end up putting you on Asacol - a prescription strength anti-inflammatory, if this is the case, you won't be getting the benefits from x-factor anyway.
sorry bud, hope all goes well

Hasty diagnosis. Let the procedure's results help determine - I've had nothing more than tears that were similar to that. Lets not jump the gun on making e-diagnosis here.

I was waiting for someone to say this, I got carried away playing mystery diagnosis.
Just thinking along the lines of inflammation = inflammation (no xfactor hate)
