Has anyone heard of the brand bodyfortress? They are a brand found at walmart who now sells creatine, whey, and l-glutamine. Anyone tried these products? Also is l-glutamine worth buying on a budget or should i stick to good old whey alone? I eat a pretty good variety of proteins and figure i probably get it naturally but i don't know.

Fear
Until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore, you will not know the terror of being lost at sea.

Try giving "Nutrient Timing" a read. It is writen by John Ivy and Robert Portman, both have Ph.D.s It really does a good job of showing the effectiveness of timed nutrients and shows that the quality of supplements are not as important as timing. They even did studies in which corn protein was used. Corn protein is one of the lowest quality proteins you can possibly get, yet the results were still decent.
Remember, this is one of those books that categorize all athletes into the same group, so don't be suprised when you see their ratios. Not to mention, carbs are so underestimated by lifters it's not even funny. You will learn how anabolic carbs really are, probably more so than protein.
It's a good book, and not expensive. it teaches you alot about basic nutrition.
