Anybody tried the new, Gold Standard Rocky Road, and/or Gold Standard Tropical Punch by Optimum Nutrition ON 100% Whey Protein?
How does it taste? What is the flavor like? I only tried strawberry. Is it better than strawberry?
Any comments appreciated!

Rocky Road is fabulous. It makes drinking protein a joke, to be honest. I'm always floored when someone complains about the taste. Is anyone familiar with the old school protein powder tastes?

Both are excellent flavours, Tropical punch is a little on the sweet side for my taste but still better than most others.
Im still prefer double choc but i buy a different flavor when i get sick of it"A good thread is like a miniskirt. Short enough to keep you interested, and long enough to cover the entire subject"

Cookies n Cream is also a ridiculous good flavor. I've heard tons of people complain about it...it just boggles my mind. The last tub I had was, yes. While this IS a horrible ingredient, keep in mind that it is in VERY low quantities. I recommend ON Cookies n Cream to people who are just starting off taking protein supplaments.

I like ON rocky road more than I liked strawberry. I did like strawberry too (I have a review of that posted here too). But that review might give you a bit of insight into what rocky road is like.
I haven't tried the tropical punch from ON though. Kind of wary about trying that - I haven't had much luck with the fruit flavored protein powders (concentrate powders).

ON Chocolate and Strawberry: I recommend

ON 100% fruit punch
I decided to try something new, as I am usually a chocolate or vanilla protein man. So I requested a sample of the fruit punch from ON about 2 months ago. I got tired of waiting and ordered a tub from BB.com which arrived in a matter of days. IT IS NASTY! I love the ON chocolate, and the vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream are pretty good as well. I was really dissapointed with the fruit punch. I should have waited for the sample (which came in the mail today 1 week too late). Since I paid for it, I will drink it, although I will probably use it to make smoothies or something to cover up the taste.

The new Gold Standard Tropical Punch was kind of a let down if you ask me. It's just "tolerable", nothing to get excited about. If you want "fruity" protein, go with something reputable like Nectar or Substance.
