I'm not so sure about the words "sausage" or "breaded" but at 162 lbs, you prolly don't have to worry all that much.
I have responded well to adding a ton of Quaker Rolled Oats to my diet as a good (and cheap) source of complex, slow-burning, low GI carbs. I take them raw in my protein shake (whey + skim milk + rolled oats) after morning cardio, for lunch, and after my evening workout.
Maybe something like that could help you as well...197 lbs
Bench: 275 x 5 / 290 x 3 / 320 x 1 (*12/13/08)
Squat: now 410 x 5 / 435 x 3 / ??? x 1 (*12/14/08)
Deadlift: 435 x 5 / 455 x 3 / 515 x 1 (*12/30/08)

well I only shop at whole foods so im assuming all of the food is very clean. all of my bread is whole wheat. besides the burrito everything should be clean.
and ya not alot of veg sadly but i eat lettuce with my sandwhiches and a salad too! but i will try and add baked potatos.
i also drink vitamin waters alot (love em)!
so based on my info does it sound like a pretty good plan

Yup, sounds good...make sure you're loading that meat up on those sandwiches!!! The way I figure it, if you can open your mouth wide enough to take a full bite, then the sandwich isn't thick enough!!!

Your doing about the same bulk as I am right now. I am pushing to be at 175 in a couple months because I am about 165 right now. I wasn't really eating many veggies either but started making these homemade salads using baby spinach that comes in the bag and also getting a bag of mixed brocolli, collaflower, carrots, and adding 2 hardboiled eggs and some low fat dressing. I am not a veggie fan but its loaded with nutrients and gives you about 4-5 salads per bag...
