laser hair removal
I won $400 off laser hair removal, I went for my consultation yesterday. For my full back and my sholders, 6x treatments every 10 weeks. 2 year of follow ups. $1080, I thought that was a great deal. I want to make sure it works. It would be great never have to shave my back. this would be less than $200 a treatment, they want all the dough up front. Anyone have this done?

I've had three treatments completed. I'm going with Ideal Image. Total cost was about a grand for my face to be done. $1080 is very low. Average for back is around $600-900 per treatment. So taking half of that and multiplying by 6 is $4500. I'd get another consultation done before agreeing.

I've had it done and I love it. Keep in mind it works better with light skin/dark hair. For best results wait a few months after waxing or tweezing. It isn't permanant hair removal but permanant hair reduction.
Pros:
you can and should shave between treatments (no regrowth, but exfoliate like a maniac)
after even the first treatment the hair will grow back finer and thinner
It's quick and practically painless (at least I'm sure it will be on your back)
cons:
price (but the prices you've been quoted are really good)
hair will grow back in patches(but thinner)
can't tan
after affect feels like a sunburn (doesn't last more than a few hours for me but everyone is different)
I highly recommend it. Get yourself some LMX 4% from the pharmacy, this is a numbing cream. Put it anywhere on your back that isn't "meaty" (ie lower back). Some places offer a payment plan or credit card program so ask about that.

I've had my back and my chest/stomach done. Back and shoulders aren't a problem, but the chest hurts like a b*tch. Hair will still grow back, but a very small percentage of what was there originally. My chest looked amazing after the first treatment, only fine hairs grew back, every single dark hair has stayed away.
I got it all done for free though My gf works at one of the biggest clinics in London and gets me in after hours . I can't say I'd actually pay for it, because it's too expensive for me. But it does work wonders.
