    BSN products crap?

Some of you girls may be interested to read this - BSN is being sued over the lack of Creatine Ester Ethyl Malate in its NO Xplode, Nitrix and CellMass products.

Yeah, that was circulating around the other day I believe. I've never used any of their producs, but today I received my order from bb.com and I did order BSN's Dessert Protein. I was most excited because the order also contains my new creatine to try. Green Magnitude

But as for the CEE in BSN's prouducts... hasn't CEE proven inferior to other forms of creatine? I tried it (in pure form) and aside from the horrible bitter taste, didn't really notice a whole lot of difference. I got pretty much the same pump without it. There may have been a little difference, but not much.

CEE was proven to not be superior to creatine mono which is much cheaper.

From what I read, the issue isnt so much whether CEE is inferior/superior, but the false advertising i.e. advertising a product to contain something which it doesn't.

Wow, that could be a big deal. I'd like to know what their basis is for filing the class action suit, though? I didnt see anything in there about them having done a chemical analysis, or a patent search. It just seems that they are filing these charges . . .and thats all, putting the burden of proof on BSN.

I'm curious because I have just finished using the Nitrix, Cellmass, No-Explode stack and I had great gains. I'll be disappointed because I really liked Cellmass. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I've heard a lot of bad things about BSN. I know their protein has corn syrup soilds in it which I wasn't too happy to find out shortly after my order came in!

    Lightbulb

I think it might come down to personal preference, although BSN should know by now that keeping a good name also comes with accurate representation of the ingredients contained in its products.

As for myself, I LOVE NO-Xplode...granted I stack it with MRI's CE2 Hi-Def (yes, expensive for another "brand name," but eliminates all of the bloating associated with other less expensive creatines) and sneak a Redline Princess (try it!) before a workout. So why not just use BSN's products in combo with others?
