i have proof for everyone right now that america is not a free country.
I went to the state offices a while ago to try to get a permit to grow the industrial superfood, hemp, in my backyard, and they laughed in my face every time.
let me explain a bit about what hemp is. hemp is a wonder food plant that grows fast, is cheap to grow, and the hemp plant can be turned into cotton, wood, and most importantly
hemp can be turned into one of the most amazing food sources known to man
hemp provides us with essential nutrients and minerals and HEMP IS A LARGE SOURCE OF complete proteins and healthy plant based fats and sugars and essential fatty acids and oils. someone could live on a diet of hemp and be 10 times healthier than living on our fast food society.
im not a vegetarian, but im just saying that hemp is frcking amazing and I would love to be taking hemp protein BUT its so frcking expensive because growing it in america is almost impossible
I think the problem with our economy is not paper money, but regulation
why can't I grow hemp in my backyard?
by selling hemp to my neighbors or the world, I could produce a hundred thousand dollars a year easily by just growing hemp in my backyard
imagine if all the 30 million illegal aliens started coming into america went into the forests and started growing hemp. there wouldn't be enough police or military to stop them, and each illegal alien could grow enough hemp to produce 100 thousand dollars of produce a year. hemp grows so fast that it wouldn't be hard to do
if america started growing hemp freely, we could produce enough WOOD for the ENTIRE WORLD. we could produce enough WOOD to STOP deforestation. we would export so much wood all of the exports would improve our economy
if america started growing hemp freely, we could produce enough natural super protein and healthy fat filled food to feed almost the entire world. cheap food and massive exports of hemp would improve our economy
if america started growing hemp freely, we could produce enough natural cottonlike clothing to give cheap clothes to the entire world and the exports would improve our economy
this is frcknig pathetic. all this frcking regulation preventing me from growing or farming hemp.
WHAT WOULD THE FRCKING FOUNDING FATHERS SAY ABOUT THIS?
THIS IS REDICULOUS
my backyard is f*cking hyooooge, and I would love to be able to grow hemp in it and use a giant grinder to grind my own hemp powder to make my own natural hemp protein shakes
F*CKING REDICULOUS
F*CK THIS F*UCKING REGULATION
this only ONE EXAMPLE of the regulation that is F*CKING OVER AMERICA and hurting our economy

They sell hemp protein in a lot of places here in PHX, where are you getting your info that hemp is illegal. According to the Amino profile it's inferior to pretty much everything else out there.

Not always. There's hundreds of varieties of smokable cannabis that all look very different but hemp is fairly consistent in that it's very tall, very woody. There was one farm field growing it around my house probably 10 years ago. My brothers and I took one home to try and freak out my parents.
I'm not sure how good hemp protein is compared to other animal based proteins but the plant itself could serve a lot of purposes if people were allowed to grow it.Last edited by eatingisfun; 12-04-2007 at 12:40 PM.
