I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has had someone ask this question. "What's the point in lifting, being fit, being strong etc., if you're not going to do anything with it?" My answering is always, "I like to exercise" But i realize to them this is a stupid answer, with them not being a fitness junky like me. How do you go about answering this question? I'm really curious to see your answers.

I hate this question so much, it really bothers me when people ask it. Why wouldn't you wanna be fit and strong and have functional strength I see that as why study or read books why would you wanna be smart? Your health is one of the.biggest aspects of your life it's not even a valid question in my eyes.

1) Because I enjoy it.
2) Because I am bigger than you.
3) Because I like to be healthy.
4) Because it is manly.
5) Because it attracts poon.
6) Because it makes me more social (meet people in the gym).
7) Because it's a hobby.
8) Because I want to change how I look/feel about myself.
9) Because I want to accomplish something.
10) Because I have goals and aspirations.
11) Because I am not a beta pussy like yourself.
12) Because I will always be better than you and am furthering that gap even more.I help people get certified as a personal trainer and build fitness businesses.

you feel a lot nicer looking ripped and muscular than just skinny. you're actually doing something with your life in a sense
it becomes a habit and life once you get used to going, it's..."fun"? not exactly fun, but you just gotta go and you want to

Haha my dad and sister asked me this the other day, and I said why wouldn't I wanna be healthier and live longer. I don't want to throw my back out when I'm older because I picked up the couch. (My dad threw his back out) and my dad actually got angry and I started to tease him and we wrestled, I kicked his ass, and I said "also that's why I lift." Lol greatest day of my life.
