    How do i answer this question?

    I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has had someone ask this question. "What's the point in lifting, being fit, being strong etc., if you're not going to do anything with it?" My answering is always, "I like to exercise" But i realize to them this is a stupid answer, with them not being a fitness junky like me. How do you go about answering this question? I'm really curious to see your answers.

    Ask them why they play video games if their not going to "do anything with it". Repeat the same question for watching big bang theory and all/any of their hobbies and regular activities. That'll shut them up.

    The answer will vary between everyone here. Some may lift for girls, some may lift because they are tired of being a fat ass or a weak skinny *******.

    I hate this question so much, it really bothers me when people ask it. Why wouldn't you wanna be fit and strong and have functional strength I see that as why study or read books why would you wanna be smart? Your health is one of the.biggest aspects of your life it's not even a valid question in my eyes.

    Haha my dad and sister asked me this the other day, and I said why wouldn't I wanna be healthier and live longer. I don't want to throw my back out when I'm older because I picked up the couch. (My dad threw his back out) and my dad actually got angry and I started to tease him and we wrestled, I kicked his ass, and I said "also that's why I lift." Lol greatest day of my life.
