just a shot in the dark, but I would think that yes, everyone can get into ketosis, just as everyone can have metobolic or other bodily functions... Im also guessing that like with one's metabolism, it may be tougher for some to reach ketosis than others, but Im sure
that everyone CAN get into it...
anyone have a definitive answer?Anxed

75% fat, 25% protein, 15g carb max
Upping the fat may not be a bad idea...but only slightly IMO.
Iron, you could be one of those that need to be really low carb to reach ketosis (under 30), but I wouldn't go to low. Fiberous veggies are important.

.6 isnt too low, he will not loose much muscle IF ANY AT ALL. on carb loading days obviously his protein will be higher. 1g per bodyweight is a myth u can go with much less to sustain muscle.
75% fat, 25% protein
i think at 217lb u should be eating closer to 2500 than 2200
but say hes eating 2200 a day
2200 * .75 / 9 = 183g fat
2200 * .25 / 4 = 137g protein

No, sorry it isnt.
What is carb up? Refilling of muscular glycogen and rebuilding of muscle tissue. You eat way more carbs than protein but protein should still be higher than the weeks protein intake.
Back up your claims with reason or stfu.
If you are only trying to rebuild muscle tissue on carb-up days......LOL........you will surely lose muscle.
Proper protein intake and insulin spiking must take place throughout the training week for proper rebuilding of muscle tissue.
Have you ever heard of post workout nutrition ?

Whoa
Pirub88, that is wrong plain and simple to state that protein needs to be higher on load days. A proper ratio on a load day would be 60% carbs, 30% protewin and 10% fat.
.6 is too low.
I will back up my claims, unlike you. REF:
