I seen a few mention the ECA stack. I have heard some bad stories on those who took ephedrine---for a 150 lb girl (5'4'')--think i'll be harmed by a stack of 8mg/200mg/81mg (ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin). I think i will prob need to increase the ephedrine as i notice most of the info i read is atleast 25mg---but i am kinda afraid to do this.
I tookthe first dose this a.m. before my cardio. I train weights at night/ Is it okay to take it on an empty stomach?
Will i get results with this dosage???

only back thing about taking it at night is you'll be up ALL night. i've never had a problem taking it on an empty stomach. i usually take it before i work out and drink a cup of coffee while im working out.
Occasionally i'll just drink a cup of coffee and no ephedrine added if im working out at night. this is because i have sleep issues and well, i just need my coffee while im working out.
i think your stack is fine. just be prepared to be more alert and possibly not be able to get to sleep at night if you take it in the evening.

When I first started taking this. I did ECA 12.5/200/80 1x day
I ended up not taking the A anymore no specific reason just didnt.
So I have done it this way 12.5/200 for the first few days I took it and never take it after 2:30 cuz you wont sleep until late 11pm for me with last dose at 2pm.
Then I have taken it 12.5/200 x 2 day
and 25/200 x 2 day. I have only 3 x day once otr twice too much for me. BTW I am 5'2 118lb
You can play with it and adjust as you feel fit.

I have taken it 25g E/200 caf/300(what ever a real asprin is) up to 3 times a day with NO problems. I can not even tell that I am taking it - except when it wears off I become VERY sleepy. EVERYONE is different my girlfriend took one full 25/200 and thought she was going to jump out of her skin. Start off w/ 1/2 and adjust from there.

Not a woman but I felt the need to help. Boots's dosages seem right. I do 25mg 3x/day with 200mg caffeine each time. Also take NOW Green Tea Extract with the first 2 doses per day.
Also, for dosing time schedules, first thing when you wake up, then 4 hours afterwards subsequently. That's the half life for the ephedrine which means that you're keeping your body outside of the optimal useful range for the stack by waiting longer in between.
Also, if I take it inside 7 hours before bed, I can't sleep. Had to learn THAT one the hard way.
For cardio, high incline walking (4% incline, 4 mph for 20 minutes worked for me).
As far as lifting late, I'd go without any pre-supps b/c you're going to mess with your sleep.
Also, I take it 15 minutes before eating and no less than one hour after my last meal/snack.PSN - iarentdrunk

Way too high. I weigh between 200 and 215 depending on the preceeding days/week and I only take 25mg per dose.
And I never saw the need for asprin. EGCg worked fine for me.
Tell him to give you your money back and do a little bit more research next time. Look into 8mg pills like Boots recommended.PSN - iarentdrunk

I think you should stop altogether. The caffeine level is good for you but the ephedrine is way too high for even me.
I do 25mgE, 200mgC, 400mgEGCg twice and 25E, 200C as my last dose of the day.
I take them 4 hours apart because after 4 hours, the half life of the E drops below a valuable level.
That's a lot for a relatively small woman (no offense)...no issues with the jitters or headaches?

I've taken 20mg E/200mg C before after tapering up and was ok. Tolerance seems to depend more on the individual than bodyweight. But starting at 30mg was a very bad idea, the pills should have been cut in half, and really, I'd recommend just taking 15mg at a time, and never the full pill since you are small.

hi, the pills i have r in a cap with the powder inside...if i half this, how do i take it? should i empty half in to a small glass of water?? is that safe, would it harm my stomach it not being enclosed in a cap?? or should i empty half out the cap, and join the cap back 2getha and throw away the other half??

me again....took 1/3 of my 30e 200c 80a this morning and felt really ill?? i was fine with this yesterday! ive thown those tabs away now and am looking in to 8mg e as suggested, unfortunatly it doesnt look like i can get hold of any...not even off the net as they are banned in uk and they wont ship here has anyone tried synephrine?? this is supposed to be the legal substitute .... would this work????

Be sure you know why you're taking an ECA stack to begin with and if it fits in with your fitness goals. Most of the time it's unnecessary and leads to dehydration & fatigue.
I've taken a 30mg ephedrine stack for over a year, and recently realized that I've gotten better results without it.
If you haven't restricted the calories in your diet too drastically, you can usually get enough energy from the foods you eat and by having 2-3 green teas throughout the day. (Provided you have enough rest.)
The mistake I made when taking a fat burner is thinking that because my heart rate soared during cardio & weight training, I was working out at the highest level of effort I possibly could. WRONG. Taking a fat burner before a workout made me fatigue faster and get my heart rate up very high without much effort at all. All the cardio I did took away from the time I could have spent building muscle which would increase fat burning naturally.
In the past two months I've stayed away from an ECA stack and increased my weight training efforts. Instead of overdoing it with cardio, I throw in several HIIT sessions which boosts fitness & endurance, while blasting away fat, preserving muscle, and maintaining a high level of heart rate.
In my opinion, the only sensible time fat burners should be used is in the last few weeks out when dieting for a competition. But this is based on my experience with a heavy stack. I can't comment on the lighter ones.

ec stack not working for fat loss for me
I have been taking 25mg e/200mg caffeine upon rising 6am and again at 11:30am both on empty stomach, and already have very clean diet, and no results and it has been 2 weeks...no side effects and I cannot take a third dose as I tried on a weekend and did not sleep cuz the 3rd dose would be around 2........so I wanted to break the plateau and no luck; should i still stay on the stack? I got caplets where terracotta recommended so I know they are real...........I am 5 ft 4, 118lbs.....thanks for any advice.

It was shown to significantly decrease muscle synthesis only in high doses. Aspirin reduces blood pressure, and a baby (81mg) aspirin *could* prevent EC related blood pressure issues. Aspirin also increases the effectiveness of the stack (although this was only tested at 325mg aspirin 3x/day, and not with the small ones).

What you are experiencing is completely normal! Some people react differently to the stack then others. I personally have breakfast then about an 1-1.5 hrs later take my first dose. Taking the stack on an empty stomach can make you feel really ill, dizzy and feel faint.
Start off in 1/3 doses 3x daily and by day 3 you should be ok to be taking full doses. The cotton mouth is also normal, drink plenty of water with the stack. You may experience headaches, joint and muscle pains if you are dehydrated and not drinking enough water with the stack. Again at first it may seem overwhelming but as a few days go by you should be able to handle it without any problems.
I run it 3x daily.. about 1-1.5 hours after waking up, again early afternoon and my last dose around 5-6pm just before my workout. Run it for 3-4 wks and then take a brake for about 2 wks. It worked wonders for me, really does help you to lose weight rapidly but again, it is only a supplement.. you must also eat clean and exercise to get the full benefits and see real results of the stack.

Are u excerising? Stressed?? ECA is a supplement, u must also workout and eat clean to see and get the true results of the stack! It works wonders for me and gives me plenty of energy through out my day and during my workouts. Also, you must drink plenty of water and keep yourself well hydrated. The problem maybe with your diet. Are you eatting enough calories? You must also eat, eat 5 times daily, lots of protein, shakes, and small healthy meals. Up your workout intensity as well and eat the right foods and also sleep at least 7 hrs a day.
