Why are so many woman concerned with my nationality?

I've had girls assume I was Italian, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Indonesian, etc and etc. and they get surprised as hell when they find out I'm Paki/Afghani and some girls even refuse to believe it. WTF, anyway what do you guys think:

Well, I looked at the pic before reading the post. I picked the nationality/herritage correctly. So, I can't give you any insight there.

I personally feel more comfortable talking to men without the word "teen" used after their age, however, all men eightteen and older are considered legal adults.

I would think that you are hispanic lol or puerto Rican you have that look and maybe they stop talking to you after finding out that you're paki/whatever your nationallity is because they are just not atracted to that specific nationality...for me I got y looks face comes first then the body... and to tell you the truth its very rare that you find paki's, indian, or whatever other mediterranean nationality good looking

They're not worried about your face, bud, they're worried about the fact that Moslem people seem big on imprisoning women under veils, killing them for being raped and that sort of stuff. I'm not saying you yourself are like that, but it's the rumor that goes around, and it goes around because it's true for people in those countries. I've no idea how does 3rd generation American act. It's a psyche thingy, specially if you're in the US: seems like Afghanistan got some bad rep. I think, you know, tearing down those towers and killing some 3000 people simply doesn't SOUND good. You can be sure some nice German fellas had problems picking up non-German women long after WW2. I can relate, I'm Croatian and I wouldn't go out with a Serb no matter what a nice guy he was. When your country spends 10 years killing people in some country, you can't expect people of that country to happily go out with the yesterday's enemy. I'm not trying to say it's FAIR, just that it's SO. Tough luck for ya... try with women of your own religion / ethnicity...

Also, pakis and indians are NOT meditherranian, good GODS take a map and educate yourself.

I get upset sometimes but I started to just accept that people are pretty ignorant in general.

There's a perception in England that Pakistani men treat women like crap. This may or may not be true - I've worked with plenty of Pakistanis/Indians/Malaysians and some treat women terribly, others don't... (just like the rest of the world...)

Anyhow, as Pakistanis are usually Muslim (in my experience) they may not want to go for it, after all, unless they convert, it's pretty likely there's no real future in the relationship unless the bloke wants to incur the wrath of his parents.

There's also a 'thing' where young Asian men go out with as many white girls (because they're considered easy tarts) as possible before settling down with a 'nice' Indian/Pakistani/etc girl. Doesn't do the self esteem much good, that

Anyhow, that may or may not be the reason girls are turned off by your nationality. Whether you conform to the stereotype or not, only you know!

Now that you mention it, when I was in cc people there were alot more close minded then they are here at OU. Here you are surrounded by people from all over the world.I think that in it self makes people more execpting of difference plus because their are so many exchange students the schools and community in general spend more time and money to educate the public.Our elementry schools have a teacer just for this purpose she teaches the kids about execpting different cultures, relgion, race ect.
