I haven't seen Michigan play much second half of the year, but I can't see UF losing this game, and I hate UF.

Conference has nothing to do with is. D1-AA does. Remember Big 10 vs SEC last year? 2-1.

All you Michigan bashers must think Ohio State is going to blowout LSU, lol. Hey, both Big 10 teams are playing so they both have a chance. With 5 weeks to prepare, lets not forget how badly Ohio State choked last year and that a lot can change in these next 5 weeks.

Except the number one team will go in as the underdog this year.

I think the biggest blowout for the BIG 10 will be USC over Illinois. USC wins by 4 touchdowns I bet.

You are implying way too much. The bottom line is this; OSU has only lost to Michigan once in the last 6 or 7 years. UM is no longer a powerhouse. They have done bad in bowl games as of late as well. The Big 10 is having a down year.. but Michigan has had down YEARS.
Though, lets not be hypocritical. By YOUR logic, Tennessee and Arkansas should have beat their Big 10 opponents last year in bowl games.

bozz, amnong others laugh at the thought of the SEC being good and beating up on each other. they then go on to proclaim that all conferences beat up on each other...and that the SEC is just average. then when a 3 conference loss SEC team gets matched up against a 2 conference loss big-10 team......
it kind of put things in perspective. SEC > big-10. the game will be a blowout, and michigan faired better in the big 10 than florida did in the SEC. ya follow me?

You and I both know that the number of losses a team has doesnt necessarily tell you how good/bad a team they are. Florida was the 2nd best team in the SEC IMO( i think both UGA and Florida are better than LSU) whereas Michigan is probably the 5th best team in the BIG10 Wisconsin is better and its a tossup between them and PennSt. Nice try though 3 loss Florida ranked 12th vs an unranked michigan team .
But then again since everyone beat everyone in the BIG10, I guess by SEC logic that makes them the best conference in the nation right? Thanks for the compliment jeff.

wow, pretty thick skulled there lol.
you own yourself and thank me for a compliment.
anyway. so maybe when your buckeyes lose to "the 3rd best team" in the SEC....you will have to admit that the SEC is as good as we think they are.

edit: we are talking about conferences here....not the team. 2 losses in big 10. shows how terrible your conference is compared to the SEC. got it?

I dont think OSU is going to get bashed this year. It's not going to be a repeat like last year. I think LSU will definately win, but all the Big-10/OSU bashers may be a bit more surprised when its a closer game than expected.
As for Michigan vs. Fla........Fla is going to beat the **** out of Michigan.
USC vs. Ill will be a fun match-up. This may be a game to watch for an upset, but im still picking USC here too.
So unfortunately....Big 10 will be 0-3 in these games, but they'll put up a good effort in two of them and make them interesting I think.

I could see Michigan playing a very good game for Carr and since its Hart, Henne, etc. last games in college.
But that defense against a mobile quarterback....

Florida is going to run all over Michigan. Tebow will be on that Heisman high, leading to another Big-10 embarrassment.

The way I look at it:
OSU pretty much beat the **** out of Michigan this year - despite the 14-3 score. OSU has smacked UM the last few years.. and they aren't that impressive. They shouldn't even be playing Florida this year.. UM isn't even highly rated NOR are they a top team in the Big 10 this year. Probably the 5th best. Florida is more than likely the 3rd best team in the SEC. I actually think UF/UGA are the top 2 teams in the SEC.

I agree, Florida is gonna stomp 'em by at least 21. I would much rather have had USC Vs Florida, that was the game I was hoping for more than anything.

Yeah I don't see how people can use the layoff as an excuse. If anything thats an advantage. You have more time to practice, prepare for your opponent whoever it might be, work on your problems, whereas Florida was busy gameplanning for their SEC Championship game and getting bruised up and hurt and stuff, we had less time to get our guys healthy and ready for the championship game. You can't play a sport you're whole life and then just become THAT bad in a matter of a couple of weeks, especially considering they only had 1 more week off than Florida lol.

They were looking for any excuse they could get, I'm sure we'll see some of the same excuses recycled this year.
