Hey guys, just wondering what sort of times you guys are doing the 100m in?
I had a go the other day and did 13.02, Ill hopefully crack into the 12s this week.
What sort of times did you do when you started off?

I started with 13.1 freshmen year.
sophmore I ran 12.8.
then i started doing oly lifting and junior year i ran 11.9.
hoping for sub 11.5 this year.

About a year and a half ago I got 12.1, haven't been tested since then.

Love the 100m.
Best is 12.1 last year, that was before I'd ever done a squat in my life, so hopefully I've gotten quicker since then!

heh i ran a 11.2 sophmore nd couldnt even make top 4..top was 9.87 electronic timed..

i noticed blacks dominate the 100m.
not meaning to be racist, but i was the only white kid and i was in one of the last heats with 11.8

the '04 state champ in Iowa was white, I think he ran a 10.2

The first time I got timed was when I was in JR. High School. I ran a 12.??sec in the 100m and got the record in the 400m with a 64 second time. In High School I ran a 10.89 in the 100m and I felt so good because it was in front of a lot of people. In High School I was always the top 5 fastest guys until my Jr and SR year...I was number 2. Some white kid would beat me in the 100m and owned me in the 400m. I didn't stick with Track in field all through high school, but the white guy did and he got a scholarship and screwed up and lost it.

I ran an 11.69 last year with tendinitis in my knee. I still have it but am managing the football season with it. I was around 12.5% bf and 200lb at the time. Right now I could run around 12 + - 0.2 I think, but I have put on 9lb and havn't been doing any training. However, I plan to get to around 8% bf and see if I can break 11s this season. Wish me luck...pls

fastest I've done is 11.5* and was the second fastest in high school. The fastest was 11.3*. I'm not where near that now because I snapped my ACL and tore my meniscus playing football/soccer. More like 14-15 now

13.5 Im a discus and shot put thrower but I like the 100m and the 400m because I wont be bored the entire meet as throwing events are up first.

First outdoor meet of the season is next Tuesday, I'll vote then :P
Last season I ran in the 12.3-12.5 range consistently. Hoping I'm down sub-12 this year. This is for high school, not college.
