Question 100g carbs pw too much?

Is 100g of carbs pw too much? 3/4 cup malodextrin and 1/4 cup dextrose?

I dont think so, but then again your using simple sugars so it could be. I currently am using oats just to give them a shot and 100grams is just fine. But i do know when i was using the simple sugars you have listed 100grams was too much.

nothing wrong with 100g of carbs PWO. However, like he^^^ said, 100g of high-GI carbs isnt the best option IMO. Why would you want your biggest carb hit of the day coming from food that provides your body with little nutritional value....think about it, what good does malto/dex do for you health wise....not much. Have some oats and fruit PWO...they will provide you with vitamins and minerals that are good for your body. If you want, do 50% high-GI and 50% oats and/or fruit.

yes 100g of carbs is too much! 50g is plenty to spike your insulin.

I am 6'2 240 and tend to carry a bit more fat than I want, about 14%. What kind of PWO carbs would you guys recommend and how much. I want to replenish and promote growth, but not add much if any fat.
