get to a boxing gym and box mate, try www.rosstraining.com as well decent fight conditioning site.
If you want to fight, do it properly. It takes focus and dedecation though and if all you want is a easy ride and a scrap then don't bother... hours of endless punching of pads/people and bag, hours of conditioning the mind and body etc.
I love it personally, just up to what you've got inside i suppose

Well i'll actually answer the question you asked here, i would say even do shadow boxing in rounds, lots of interval training (roadwork is what fighters call it). 30 second sprint 60 second jog. Train core and such, but as far as it goes with fight-specific it's all technique. And that's teaching not training.

Not at all, Mabye in a noraml pub/street brawl, but a trained fighter would just piss them selfs at the lack of self control, wild swings etc take on step back and then knock seven shades of shine ****e out of you.
A trained fighter, be it MMA or boxing would be able to take a avrage joes best punch on the chin with out much worry... they take punchs from people who train day in day out to punch regularly.
To think a nut case with no self control is stronger than a decent well trained fighter is pritty niave. If being a nut made you a good fighter, surely all boxers would be wild and off there heads?

A strong neck helps reduce the risk of bein KO'd
"Pain and fear will be there with you, tempting you to stop, telling you to give up. Your body will be screaming for you to listen to them, and the little voice in your head will be begging you to do cease and desist. Tell them to shut up. You've got some growing to do!"

That is pretty much the correct answer.
If you want to knock someone out you practice you boxing, mauy thai, or kickboxing.
If you want to submit or choke someone out you practice your BJJ.
If you want to take someone down and GnP them, you practice your wrestling.
Oh and if you want a better chin (how hard of a blow you can take without being knocked out) train your shoulder and kneck muscles.
