A calorie is a calorie, regardless of whether it's from fat or something else. How many calories you burn in an hour at rest is dependant upon such factors as average body temperature, body type, and the amount of lean body weight you hold. Whether what you burn is from fat or something else is dependant upon your diet and training.

There are too many factors that determine your resting metabolic rate, and where those calories come from. What and how much you burn is different from everyone else, and no set number can be set. Lean body mass means nothing really since someone can have no muscle yet be big boned.
If you always talk about how you could be in great shape if you just worked out and ate right, why don't you just work out and eat right?
