But for that money, you can get a power cage w/lat attachment, good inc/flat/dec bench, olympic set, and standard set w dumbells.

So a full freeweight gym!

If you want the little toning thing, the Golds will do that, but so will the free weights.
If you want REAL Muscle, the free weights WILL do that, the Golds WILL NOT.

I live in an apartment and space is at a premium. I'm pushin it just to have a bench and free weights in here. Maybe I should bite the bullet and shell out the $200. a year for a gym membership here. Special deal cause of my job with the County. 4-5 years in the gym for one Power Flex.

Go for the gym membership.
Meet some people, share some interests, look at fit chicks, keeps you motivated.
I have a home gym but still do most of the workouts in the Regular gym unless time is lacking.
