230 Pounds Bulked - Update Pics
Hey everyone, for those of you who know me and for those of you who do not. I wanted to post a couple of quick pics to show you my progress. To refresh your memory last fall I competed in a local competition coming in at 170 lbs, I took second place in Men's Middleweight. Since then I have been busy packing on the beef trying to get to 250 lbs with a reasonable fat/lean mass ratio. The first two pics are current and the last pic was taken last year after my comp at 170 lbs.
Some of my best lifts to date are:
Incline Bench : 300 lbs x 7
Incline Dumbells : 140 lbs dumbells x 8
Deadlifts : 475 x 6
Squats : 415 x 6
Leg press : 24 plates x 10
Additional information, I am 5'10", 23 years old, and I am in my first year of a Kinesiology Masters program specializing in Neurophysiology

Hey thanks for the replies... yepp so my abs are not too bad, I still have them, just a little sloppy looking. This is definately the highest bodyfat percentage I have ever been at. As for being natural, I am natural right now... when I say right now, within the last six months or so I have given the whole idea some serious thought. Anyways, as of right now yes I am natural and I think I will keep training this way at least until I am done my masters degree or reach my peak potential.
In case anyone is interested, I use Celltech, Nitrotech, and PVL Glutamine on a regular basis.

Hey, yeah I am here at the University of Windsor.. have been for the last 5 years. Right now I'd say my bodyfat is probably around 12 - 13 percent if I had to guess. I still have a little seperation in me legs and I can still see my abs. However, that is not a huge concern of mine right now, I wouldn't even mind losing my abs to gain another 10 or 15 pounds so long as I don't have a gut haha

awesome progress! u certainly have added a ****load of mass, if you wouldnt mind id be interested in the diet / training protocol u have used in this off-season to gain this size, thanks and major props on gettin to 230 naturally in such tight shape!

Thanks for responding, you've built an impressive physique man. How long did it take you to go from the 170 shredded to 230 relatively clean?
Makes me want to cut down.... maybe I will when I hit 18.

Well, the competition that I was in was early last November... so nearly a year. Also I always say I was 170... but in fact I was 176 the night before, and after cutting water I was around 167 the day of..

hey man ur lookin thick as hell bro. dam. im most impressed with ur incline db numbers those r huge. quik question how big were u at 19? when did u start real serious liftin? rite now im cuttin around 180 around 10% bf so i could prob get down to 175 and be real ripped but im thinkin of bulkin but im not really sure what to do. i duno how to bulk so lean. im thinkin of followin the diet on that website u putup. i didnt kno u can eat brown rice straight out of the package without cookin it? do u atleast wash it? tnx
