Ok I know this is pretty awkward, but many of us guys lifting are doing it just for a little bit of definition. Not many of us want to be full fledged body builders. Is it true?
Also, how many here are body building to become healthy, and how many here are doing it to win over a girl?
Lastly, how much do you guys spend on supplements in a month?
I know this is pretty haphazard, but have different threads for different questions didnt make sense.
Cheers!

I think most people bodybulid to look good, be healthy and feel good about themselves, myself included.
Bodybuilding to me is like... a constant progression, like i'm bettering myself each and every workout, i can just feel growth, and it makes me feel good.
I dunno... maybe i spend.... 60 bucks a month on supplements...ZMA, whey and total efa.

****...I DO IT TO PIMP CHICKS!!!! lol..j/k thats just a bonus..
Really though..I love to feel good and be healthy. I like being stronger and in shape. It gives me the ability to do things better then the average joe schmoe. Lifting is also my 2nd biggest stess reliever. Kinda like a therapy for me.Do it for yourself and nobody else. It starts with you!
EAT BIG!
LIFT BIG!
SLEEP BIG!

Right guys, here'smy answer to my own question.
I dont want to be a full fledged body builder,I just want to be lean, somewhat like Tom Jane in the punisher.
Secondly,I lift for both the reasons.I want to be healthy, and I want to please girls.Actually, just ONE girl,in my case.
Thirdly,I spend $20 on supplements every month.
Oh and anyways,$20 is 1/3 of what I have left to save from my allowance and job, altogether.I,and only I am the SOLE KEY to my SUCCESS

Woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and thought holy $hit i should be living in ethiopia.
I was 5ft 10 and weighed 134lbs......no muscle, no confidence, all the clothes i had use to to just dangle off me and i was going through a pretty rough time with family issues, so i thought enough of this and decided to lift weights, after months and months of reading, lifting and eatin its just a case now of not giving up.
Picked up the weights, and never looked back since, i now weigh 150lbs and broke up with my gf of 2 years which has pretty much made me push harder to get bigger leaner and more success in life and im feelin good for once.
Not only have i got stronger physicaly but mentaly as well, ive gone without giving up even though everything was chucked at me, its just an escape ive also found out alot about myself that maybe i didnt know before i was liftin.
This sounds really cheesy but the Rocky film series really gave me the spark to lift and get into the best shape possible.
Oh and now im addicted

I lift to show the man in the mirror a thing or two
No really, I do it for myself and myself only. I do it to show the people that said I could't. I do it so I can push back when some big dumbass tries to get the upperhand on me. I do it so i can test my limits.
That sounds like a spousal beating commercial (i hate people who do that). I lift cause it feels good and I feel a great deal of satisfaction when I show people and they tell me how good I am doing for myself and to look at those guys who thought that they were strong just cause they could swing a big meaty hook.
To tell the truth, we are all self centred in our pursuits. That's what I love about it
