Thread: Putting Animal to the "Test"

Before I joined the Animal team I purchased two cans of Animal Test. I got them as soon as they were available however I have been holding off on using it until today. I will be running two cans back to back so 42 days.
I have been following all the other Animal Test logs and reviews and am interested to see what this product can do. I have never used AA before so it will be my first experience with some of these ingredients.
As far as my training goes I have been doing DC training for the past month. If you haven't heard of DC training, crawl out from under your rock and check out:

I suggest you do a lot of reading before you decide to jump into it. It's an advanced program and quite unique. There is also a DVD now available about it and I highly recommend it because they show you exactly how to perform each exercise and the extreme stretches. The DVD is available here:

My training will be 3 days per week:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Rotation is as follows:
Monday - shoulders, tris, back width & back thickness
Wednesday - biceps, forearms, quads, hams, calves
Friday - shoulders, tris, back width & back thickness
then the rotation picks up again on the following monday
The goal here is to pack on mass in the next few months. I weigh in at 199lbs. right now.Free Agent

Aside from Animal Test, my supplement program:
Pak & Flex everyday with breakfast
On training days:
During training - Universal EAA stack (fruit punch) mixed with 1 scoop Storm (fruit punch) + 15 grms waxy maize starch. Sipped on during training.
Post training - Torrent
Occasionally when I need a kick on days I am dragging I will have 1 scoop of Shock Therapy 30 minutes pre training
Protein - Universal Ultra Iso whey (Chocolate & Lemonade)
I will use bars/MRP's when I travel which is often for work.
One good thing about DC training and supplements is that your suppps last a lot longer because your only training 3 days per week. So Torrent will last me 5 weeks.Free Agent

Yes, I will be doing cardio tuesday, thursday & saturday for 30 minutes, moderate intensity.
Correct, no chest training for me right now. I have an issue with some trigger points in my pecs and training them causes pain in my shoulders. I am having them worked on.
I will put up a sample of my diet in the next day or two.Free Agent

BTW..............today we had the Animal Barbell Club in CT with Evan Centaponi (Ox), Vinny Galanti, Gdiesel and a bunch of young, hungry lions from the Animal Pak forvm. Great day, Evan, Vinny & Gdiesel did a seminar/Q & A and then we grabbed some grub together. What a great experience. We will get some pics up in the next day.Free Agent

Well my first workout with Test was amazing, not because of Animal Test (don't worry I don't expect much from a single dose ) but because the workout was in the Gold's Gym in New Haven, CT. It was an Animal Barbell Club event featuring Evan Centaponi (Ox), Vinny Galanti, Gdiesel and a bunch of Animals from the AnimalPak forvm.
Aside from a great workout, Evan, Vinny and Gdiesel gave a Q & A session which was awesome and then we went out and grabbed some grub in downtown New Haven.Free Agent

subbed! I have Test on order and enroute. Very interested in what it can do for an "older" guy.
I currently supplement with 6000 mg of CLA a day
2 to 4 Fish oil supps a day
Flax seeds daily.
Should I discontinue or reduce any of this when I start the Test due to the AA?

Your more than welcome to ask questions here. You don't have to stop your supplementation however I would keep the fish oil to a maximum of 2 per day. I don't believe CLA will have any effect and Flax should have a minimal affect if at all.
In my opinion these test boosting supplements are much more effective for older guys.Free Agent

Solid! Thanks man. I found out tonight that I wont be able to start my Test cycle as soon as I wanted to but I assure you that the can I bought will have a second one sitting beside it soon enough. As soon as I finish logging I am starting this!
At 41, I need all the help I can get, ya know? LOL!

DC is very different from P/RR/S. The biggest thing that I have to get used to is only training 3 days per week, thats a tough adjustment when you have a bodybuilder mentality. It's too early to make an assessment on which is more effective since I did P/RR/S for a year, I've only been DC'ing for a month. I made some very good gains on P/RR/S so we will see. It's good to switch it up anyway.

Ok 5 days into Test:
Subjectively I feel and look much fuller. Objectively I blew away the logbook on this mornings workout. I went up in weight on every exercise. Good start.Free Agent
