I'm not sure who wrote most of these. Just a collection of my favorite quotes from the many websites I've been too.
My personal favorite:
"THE TRUE MEASURE OF CHAMPIONS IS HOW HARD THEY WORK WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING"
I remember this one vividly because it was the only writing on my high school weight room in huge red letters at the back of the weight room. Even after all these years, I can still see it pictured vividly in my mind.
"There is no force in this world greater than the force of a man determined to rise"
"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential
these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence"
"Determination is often the first chapter in the book of excellence"
"Never ever give up"
Let's hear those inspirational quotes to get us going in the morning.

My favorite it one was uttered by my room mate after we both finished a workout that just killed us. He just looks over at me while we're walking out and says, "you know bro, we ain't goin' after any other 'gress except progress."

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place... and I don?t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently, if you let it. You, me or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That?s how winning is done.........if you know what you worth, go out and get what you worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits."

Great quotes in here so far. Getting me pumped up for tomorrow morning for sure. I'll be going to bed extra early tonight so I can get to the gym sooner tomorrow.

My favorite story and quote
In 1972, 2 olympic correspondents were coming out of a bar at Olympic Village at 4:30 am... As they were crossing the street they saw someone running and realized it was Dan Gable who had just won the Gold Medal the night before. They asked them why he was running so early the next morning and he said "I am getting ready for the next Olympics". One of my other favorite quotes from the same olympic was... "Russia came with only one goal, to beat Dan Gable, they failed"
I heard that when I was in high school and it has stuck with me ever since. The only thing is he didn't make the cut for the 76 olympics. He was hurt, wrestled anyway and lost to an inferior wrestler.
