Protein bars
I've been consuming Premier Nutrition Protein bars after finishing my work out session. While brushing my teeth I noticed that there seems to be discoloration in the area where the teeth meet. I'm a bit concerned and I'm wondering if it's possible that these bars are causing this?
I have a dental appointment in 3 weeks, was wondering if anyone else noticed any "side-effects" from consuming a high in protein diet?

I brush and rinse with mouthwash when I get home, which is approximately 30 minutes later. I also drink half a gallon of water between starting my workout and getting home afterwards.
It's not like it's a food particle stuck between the teeth, it's an actual discoloration.

any smoking, tobaccoo, increase in coffee consumption?
you might also just try to switch protein bars for a week and see if the prooblem continues to occur, and if it does then you just change protein bars

I don't smoke. I don't drink coffee or tea .
I like the way this one tastes, and it has 30g of protein which is kind of nice!
Can you recommend a protein bar with practically zero carbs, 30g+ protein that also tastes good?

sorry. i dont tend to munch on protein bars as much as protein shakes.
if you're comfortable with the amount of discoloration until your dentist appt. i'd say continue what you're doing, but dentist will know best and can give you a specific answer.
