Fruity wheys!
I need to switch wheys, I'm currently taking Double Chocolate 100% whey protein by Optimum Nutrition and I just cant drink chocolate milk after my intense work outs, it just sucks, I'd rather drink gatorade with 50g of protein in it!
so if any of you guys have good experiences with a good tasting fruity whey I could mix with water, let me know!

Why don't they make a flavorless whey protein so that you can mix it with anything?

with water or not too much milk
My favorite combo is Tropical whey, A splash of milk, one fat free yogurt, 5 ice cubes, and water
blend away

^^^ I totally agree. I hate having gas. So i bought a 5 lb tub of ON's 100% whey gold standard TROPICAL PUNCH. It does taste great. And you mix it with water.
aLSO GF-PRO (any flavor is good)
Syntrax's Nectar (also most flavors are good)
The last 2 are pricey because they're isolates, but the same as buying a dollar burger for that matter. oN is waay cheap and probably the cheapest fruity protein available. Anyone have another cheap fruit protein?

Really looking forward to the Tropical Punch. I'm on a "carb cycling"-type diet right now, and on no-carb days mixing chocolate protein with water SUCKS, so I decided to pick some of it up (should be here in a day or two). Finally... a protein I can mix with water and enjoy it.
Optimum is doing really good with the new Gold Standard flavors. The Rocky Road looks tempting to try as well. I think it's about time they retire the Cookies 'n' Cream... the feedback on that has been very negative. Even the "new & improved" batch hasn't gotten much good feedback.

Can't go wrong with either Ergopharm GF-Pro, or Primaforce Substance WPI. My favorite would have to the Blueberry GF-pro, with Substance Watermelon taking a close second on taste. I may be in the minority on this, but the ON Tropical punch tastes like Pepto Bismol to me!

Compared to those isolates you listed, I'm not surprised, as they are some of the best tasting out there. As long as it's "pretty good" (think: tolerable), I'll be cool with it, as a cost-effective fruit protein.

Thanks a ton for the offer dude but I already sent in an order. Should be here by Thursday, so there's no turning back now.
I'll have to post a review when I try it.

Substance WPi watermelon or grape flavors are by far the best albiet somewhat pricey. ON's fruit punch is decent but kinda weak flavored. Good for a concentrate and if price is a big issue. The old stock of WPI would have been the way to go, but it's a moot point now.

I have stomach issues and substance works good for me. If I use optimum, it blows my stomach and the local toilet up.

Primaforce - Substance WPI
Syntrax - Nectar
Molecular Nutrition - Whey Fruity
Ergopharm - GF-Pro (I-Pro in Canada)
The above are all excellent.

If you always have to say you are straight probably means you aren't.

ON 100% Any Whey is tasteless and can even be used when baking or cooking. I mix it with just about anything.
Designer Whey Fruit Punch sucks.

Molecular Nutrition Whey Fruity
Molecular Nutrition Whey Fruity comes in several flavors. I love the grape. Put some ice in a water bottle add water and shake. The ice aids in a blending the powder with the water and makes it nice and cold. Great breakfast drink since it does not have any carbs. Of course you would need to add some carbs to it after lifting/cardio...any suggestions?

Substance WPI Grape Splash
Just wanted to add to the thread. Grape Splash is pretty good for a fruity whey isolate. It mixes pretty well with water, only a few chunks left on the top when mixed with a spoon. Syntrax Nectar Lemonade is still my favorite.

Have you tried using lactase pills with the ON whey? ON claims that the formula is nearly lactose free but I've found that taking a lactase pill with my shake minimizes the ****s a lot of people get from whey.
