Clomid-Nolvadex Side effects

Im doing PCT right now with Nolva-Clom....Let me just say I almost DIED last night.

I started taking Clomid and Nolva last week.

Clomid 300mg first day then 100mg for 1st week
Nolva 40mg per day for the first week.

I also take Krealkalyn, Animal Pak Multis, Fish oil, Arg/ornithine (3000mg), Vit C 4000mg, Blue Rhino, Garlic, Milk Thistle.....

Well from reading the side effects I'm guessing it was the Nolva....

I had a headache all day yesterday so when I got home I took 800mg of Ibuprofen. Well about 30 minutes later my blood pressure dropped my lips turned white and I blacked out...My wife called the Ambulance...My blood pressure dropped to 66/39norm is 120/70, my heart was beating arrythmic (never happened) and I was soooo weak!!

I felt so Dizzy and spaced out.......Anyone on here ever have similar problems while taking these damn research chems.....

and if anyone knows what the f--k should I not take with it...

help me out should I continue PCT?? lower the dose of Nolva? Skip the Nolva??...I want to recover fully but maybe im taking too much along with everything else I'm taking.

My mother is a nurse and she said to either stop taking al together but since she knows I wont listen she said take a break for 3 days.....any advice here..I need some pro's that have been thru this PCT plenty of times not noobs givin lame advice.

well, i assume you had been taking all of the stuff and were doing fine until you took the ibuprofren. im no doctor, but common sense points me in that direction. 800mg is a lot anyway. im reading my bottle which is conveniently next to my desk.

take 1 tablet (200mg) every 4 to 6 hours. if pain does not respond to 1 pill, 2 may be used. the smallest effective dose should be used.

from this, i have gathered that you took 4 times the recommended dosage and 2 times the maximum dosage they recommend. hmmmmmm.

The first couple times I used nolvodex I had this terrible pain in my nutz when urinating. Other then that I have not had problems. Never tried Clom.

Drank over 1 gallon of water.
Ate 6 small meals like usual..(three ON Whey shakes)
Took Now Arg/Orn 3000mg (6 caps) in AM before lifting
Took Kre-Alkalyn 1 serving before lifting
Took Blue Rhino 1 serving before lifting
Took 4000mg of Vit C throughout the day
Took 8 fish oil caps throughout the day
Took 4 flax seed caps throughtout the day
Took Animal Pak multi

I wil resume with the Clomid tommorrow and skip the Nolvadex.....I may not need it....or maybe 40mg is too much if you read the side effects on Nolva they are basically what I had...Irregular heartbeat, Shallow breathing, Fainting, Vomiting..I basically Blackedout and my blood pressure went so low I could have died.......

Damn aint anyone had adverse reactions to this stuff?? I drank a cup of coffee today and felt like i was gonna pass out....my blood pressure dropped again..Dr said give it 3-5 days to wear off....this is weird.why does everyone recommend nolva over clomid though nolva is way more toxic??

i cant believe nobodys mentioned this but.... Clomids sides are alot worse than nolva.. with nolva people normaly just get a little acne...

Clomid ALOT of people get blurred vision, extremely bad acne, and feel like a ****ing girl... You wont catch me using clomid again..

nolvadex is more than sufficient enough for pct and with how bad the blurred vision from the clomid is.. what happens if the blurred vision turns into problems seeing permanantly.. **** that...

You really need to go over to the roid forum to understand what you asked....you use nolva for estrogen rebound after clomid kicks your nuts into back into shape....simple terms...you may not be reacting to the 2 at all cuz I guess it's a propylene glycol solution which IMO isn't a great thing.

This is odd, becasue as stated before, most people have worse sides with clomid than nolva. I have never heard of anyone complain about sides form nolva. I just got off clomid, was on it for 4 weeks, and i had blurred vision, now have ance all over my back, shoulders, arms, face, and i felt depresssed and weird with my emotions the whole time i was on it. SO in my opnion, clomid sides are much worse. My guess is you had a reaction to one or the other. I would drop both of them unitl you figure out which one gave you the reaction. If it in deed was the nolva, then continue with clomid, 100mg for 2 weeks, than 50mg for 2 more weeks. And with the blurred vision, it will go away, chances of it being permanent, or 1 in a million. thats like sayin you wont get put under to have surgery, becasue your afraid you wont wake up, yes it does happen, in 1 out of every 500,000 patients or what not. Listen to your body, be safe, if you cant handle the PCT, dont do the cycle, IMO. Be safe. Best of luck!!!

nolva and clomid are about equal when it comes to restoring natural testosterone production..

I know bro....everybody has their opinion on their roles in PCT....that's just the way I see it....I don't think you should take clomid w/out any nolva because of the possible estrogen backlash.

You may be right...I forgot propylene glycol can really mess you up..I'll look up the side effects of that....hmmm anyone else?? I felt like spaced out today again...headrush feelings....almost like I guzzled a pot of coffee...except i didnt even touch the stuff today.....maybe im getting migraines (never had one before so i dont know)...i felt clammy again, dizzy, slight headache and slightly short of breath mainly due to an anxiety feelin ive gotten .....im not neurotic if that's whatya'll thinkin...hell no....i can pop pills wit the best of em...lol...but this is weird man!!

I dont know what caused your problem but I do think that you dont need to use clomid and nolva, pick one of the two bro! It has been the popular consensus on most of the AAS boards that using both doesnt really have a hell of alot of benefit and thats when coming off a full on AAS cycle so I wouldnt imagine you would need both after doing even a heavy PH cycle.

Just my .02 but Im glad your okay.

im going to stick with comid...i dont know who the hell said clomid is worst..but have you seen the list of sides from nolvadex??? i had about 5 of those symptoms....i know it was either the nolva or an allergic reaction to the propylene glycol in my nolva (research chem)........both give similar symptoms....i will go for some blood tests today and a cat scan just to be safe since nolva can cause blood clots.......i only reason im doing this is because i take so much shiiit..maybe something couldlve interacted.......i do not believe it was the clomid thats for sure.....first day i took it i felt like bustin 5 nuts.....it was weird...load increased too from it......but with the nolva it gives you some " wood" troubles but i hear thats temporary.

Do you think this botched my PCT or should i just resume with clomid at 50mg for 2 more weeks when(or if) i get a clean bil of health from the Doc..Pray for me!!

Id prolly continue to run the clomid @ 50/day (it works well for me also) for another two weeks, dont stop "cold turkey" and see how you feel bro.

Well i had stopped since friday because of some problems ive had with these meds........should i resume just the clomid?? at 50mg....im not doing 300mg again or even another week of 100mg

Sorry to hear about your problem, hope you are getting a little better. I had to chuckle with the side effects statement. Have you ever read the medication inserts intended for doctors? The side effects of just about all drugs include dizzyness, clamy skin, seizure etc... It seems if 1 person in a study of hundreds experienced a side effect it gets listed. Side effects for Androgel for instance include amnesia, anxiety, discolored hair, dizziness, dry skin, sweating, convulsion, cerebral hemorrage, and many others. Gee, one of those effects is brain bleeding, this must be one bad mother of a drug

It doesn't sound like you had an allergic reaction, but a toxic reaction. An allergic reaction would show a rash and/or swelling. Your symptoms sound like a toxic reaction which would lessen with a lower dose. It also could be a toxic reaction between drugs (the herbal ones). When I am on some items I use no herbal supplements because there isn't sufficient studies between the reaction of the drug and herbal supplement. For instance I can't use St. John's Wart because it has a toxic reaction with some of my prescribed meds which could result in death.

My opinion would be to stop taking the herbal supplements and perhaps cut the Nolva dose down. Also get a few days of bed rest.

I read somewhere about a recent study of Nolva that found higher doses are both harmfull and unnecessary. The conclusion was that 10mg was sufficient and some could even go as low as 5mg. In the case of Nolva more was worse, not better. Did anyone else see that study? I can't remember where I saw it.

Thanks for the info..I was taking Blue rhino because I know it helps free up test...SHBG is increased with clomid/nolva so i was basically trying to add it in....i wont take anything but my clomid now and if i do go back to nolva it will be 10mg i was taking 40mg which was recommended to me by one of our boards highly respected ehh hemm..PROS.......i guess some of you can take 40mg not this f--kin wop!!....Holy ish man my head has been aching like ive had a migraine on and off, dizzy, breath all messed up, blood pressure very low.......this is crazy really it is.......i may wait a day or so then hop back on the clomid only...and when im done ill try ATD to stop and estrogen rebound effect.......i think me and Nolva dont agree......and i called my supplier they dilute it with everclear, glycerin and water so no proylene glycol issues....that was nixed!!!

ok i took my clomid last night and felt weirded out........maybe it isnt the nolva???? can any of you who used both gimme an honest opinion of which has less sides? which is better at restoring hpta since i obviously am having trouble and cannot take both??

I need to get my test levels restored...i did 6 days so far and stoppedlast friday due to complications (almost dieing).....i have had sever headaches on and off, dizziness and a bit of numbness in my hands and face too. those are just some ofthe symptoms...low bloodpressure was the major fo me..it was awful.....do you guys think it is the clomid orthe nolva??? now im confused after takin clomid again last night????? shirmaybe it is the everclear they dilute it with?????

Clomid defenitely has a bit more to sides than nolva. I am the moodiest person I know when I am on clomid. But the erections on clomid are way better than even on 4AD.
Sides vary from person to person. I have a friend who has had NO SIDE...none at all on clomid. I feel clomid helps you bounce back faster ie 2 weeks. While used along side Nolva its the bomb.
Regarding your sides, get a BP check done.

ive done clomid nolva set up the way you have about 50 times never had any probs

id look elsewhere

only side effect i ever had from clomid is trails when you suddenly turn the lights on after being in the dark

Regarding your sides, get a BP check done.

I had all sorts of bloodwork done after my "brush with death"the other night and a chest x ray to check heart n lungs. my blood pressure is usually a bit low like 108/71 simply because i take alot of arginine, gingko and various other supplements im sure have an effect on me.

So what is safer??? i want to continue...how braveof me right??? by the way since i waited sooo long for PCT since i didnt know squat estrogen is not a prob any longer plus i took novedex xt for a few weeks.....my estradiol level is fine 19 last time i checked (5-53 is norm) im sure it is even lower now.

i just want to boost the test..kick the gonads in high gear and pump friggin iron uninterrupted since obviously my episode cost me a few days lifting...id rather stop lifting and be safe.......opinions are not like "azzholes" here each one is much needed in my case....

myendocrine system is very delicate obviously...take a few PH's SHUT DOWN!! take PCT supps ALMOST CROAK!! certain "Natural" Test booster swell up my prostate ..I CANT WIN for f--kin losing!!

Try taking Saw Palmetto with your natural test boosters it reduces prostate swelling.
