Whenever you need the macros that it supplies. Do you have a pre-bed protein regiment? How is you early morning nutrition? Some people do not like to take in carbs late at night so it is a good option, others find fat laden products problematic at night and take it elsewhere in their day; it all depends on you.
I prefer to use MM early in the morning as I mix it with organic oats or hot cereal and FF Milk to supply 70gcarbs, 40g protein, 18g fat while I stick to my own blend from TP for PWO and normally ProPeptide or Ultra Peptide at night.Get Involved/Donate 501(c)(3)

take it B4 BED. muscle milk is mostly slow digesting protien. even the bottle says take it b4 bed. during the day food and a fast digesting protien shake(AST for example)pre and post workout will suffice. The fat is EFA's. I took this for 4 months b4 bed. Didnt gain any fat what so ever of it. My recovery was a little better and i wasnt starving in the morning.

the amount of Sat fat is not going to be negative. You actually need a little to promote healthy testosterone production. I personally never tried Peptide so i cant say anything about it. MCT's also promote positive nitrogen balance and are more likely burned for muscle energy and heat than stored as fat. i looked it up and MILK has 32g and Peptide has 23g? im pretty sure im looking at the right supp.
preworkout u want something that the body is going to absorb quickly.
b4 bed i took muscle milk. u grow when u rest not in the gym. thats when ur body repairs the muscle. it would make sense to give the fuel it needs b4 bed. empty stomach wouldnt no good. u can even just eat a multi grain bagel w/ peanut butter and a cup of cottage chees if u want.
not saying its needed but it would help a lot.

If you want to compare protein content for Ultra Peptide and Muscle Milk, you have to remember Muscle Milk is 2 scoops per serving.

But the fats in muscle milk are mainly for energy, not for a sustained release, therefore, I don't think MM would be ideal prebed. Muscle Milk has 32g per 2 scoops (1 serving, tub has 15) whereas Ultra Peptide has 46g per 2 scoops and 14 servings (28 servings of 23g, 14 servings of 46g).
Ultra Peptide (Or any high quality casein/whey blend) + Healthy Fats is your best choice for prebed IMO. Muscle Milk is a great shake preworkout though.
