BigStew Takes it to the Stage
Today is day one of My 20 week diet. I will be competing on April 12th in the BLNPA New England Natural.
At the Moment I am 210 pounds. Not sure what I am going to be come contest time but looking to be as big and ripped as possible. I will take some pics today and post them.
The 1st 4 weeks I will follow I am going to be eating at a small deficit on Off day and a small surplus on workout days.
Training Split:
Chest Shoulders and Triceps
Back and Biceps (Width)
Legs (Deads)
off
Chest Shoulders and Triceps
Back and Biceps (Thickness)
off
Legs (squats)
off
Repeat
I am going to continue to lift as heavy as possible with the free weight basics like always.
Cardio is going to be done every morning 30 minutes on the recumbant bike at my house after my shake upon waking
I also will be doing a second bout of cardio on off days 30 minutes on the stairmaster.

Here is what todays diet will look like:
Shake upon Waking
Meal 1:
4 egg Whites
1 whole Egg
1 cup of oats
1/4 cup blueberries
Meal 2:
2 Scoop of Protein powder in water
1 cup of oats
1/4 cup blueberries
Meal 3:
6 oz of Chicken Breast
7 oz of Sweet Potatoes
1 cup of Veggies
Meal 4:
5 oz of Lean ground Beef
1 slice of cheese
1 oz of almonds
veggies
Meal 5:
5 oz of Lean ground Beef
1 slice of cheese
veggies
Meal 6:
2 Scoops of Ceasin Protein in water

Finally I just want to say thank to Body Well Nutrition, I will be working with there product line during this contest prep. There new product First Order really delivers great energy throughout the workout. But most of all the company is very professional and I am glad to be repping for such a great company now. The owner Jimmy Mentis( a bodybuilder himself) even offered his help in my contest prep. Glad to be on Board. I will have some more info about their products in the future.

I am pretty happy with the progress that I made in the offseason/bulk. I was able to bring up my chest and shoulder a bit. Still need work but they are definately improved. Quad sweep and Calves also came up big time. Now it is just a matter of holding on to size while stripping the fat.

Just finished meal 4.
Lovin the diet. Little hungry but nothing bad. Energy overall is excellent
Off to work till 8 then I got to do some cardio.

Back is thick man, looks like you got pretty good calves as well... need to put a bit of size on the chest though man... (just like me), otherwise I cant wait until you get on stage!

Thanks brotha and I know the chest and front delts need some work. Since my shoulder surgery I have been doing everything I can to bring them up. Recently them have come up a bit but still would like some more size

A2. Cable Crunches 4x12 With no rest inbetween sets or exercises
Feel good. Little hungry on the car ride home but had a Diet Mountain dew and now I am good to go.

Decline BB Bench 5x5 230
Seated DB Side Laterals 4x12 40s Very strict form
Smith Machine Front Presses 3x10 45 on each side very slow negative
Rope Extentions to warm up my Triceps
A1. Decline Skulls (Close Grip) 3x12 30 on each side
A2. Decline Skulls (Wide Grip) 3x12 30 on each side
Great workout all around. Everything felt real strong, energy levels were extremely high, Thanks to First Order Feeling Good. Little hungry in class but that is a better feeling then stuffed like in the past

On workout days I am going to keep the same diet but add a little over 400 calories (438 to be exact)
Meal 2 will be my post workout meal and I will add 2 Tablespoons of honey
Meal 3 I will add 3 oz of Sweet potatoes
Meal 4 I will add .5 oz of almonds
Meal 5 I will add 1 oz of almonds
I just finished meal 5 and am going to my boys house to watch the end of the Celtics Game. Another great day on the diet. Lovin it
