x2
I can't understand why people get "shocked" when they see him now. OK, he was huge, but he had those life threatening problems which required or still require (I don't know) daylisis. He recognises he will probably die before "normal age" as a result of his illness. I hope that not to happen, obviously.
What do you expect? To see him still big in this context??? Come on guys.

I don't buy this 'he can't eat enough protein' ****. I have seen guys who used to work out not lift a weight for years and whilst they suffer plenty of atrophy they still keep some size. Also, that guy in the picture has narrow, sloping shoulders. Look at how tiny his frame has become. No way would he get that small from not training, he is smaller than the average Jo gymrat.
Arnold has kept size - even those disgusting saggy beach photos show the remnants of muscle. I know he trains a bit but even so..I have never seen a pro bodybuilder wither down to such a narrow shouldered stick insect.
Surely that isn't Prince.Merry Christmas.

I think that the guy would prefer living. He ended up with some serious health conditions, I am just glad that he seems to be doing well. I really wish the best for him, and don't see the need for bashing the guy. Do people bash Jerry Rice because he can't make cornerback's look silly anymore, or Emmitt Smith because he couldn't break off a 35 yard run nowadays???? The guy was one of the best, at the top of his game, give him a break and let him live his life.Russell Wilson, the first QB in NFL history to throw a game-winning interception.
"So you got fired again eh?" "Yeah, they always freak out when you leave the scene of an accident."
Spiders are like offensive linemen, the best ones do their job and you never notice them.
An obvious example of New Math.

Tbh I think it's fine to comment on his loss of all his muscle and the realization that under all that synthetic muscle was an average guy with narrow, sloping shoulders that would be told to 'bulk' or 'lift heavy' if posted his pics on bbing.com.
He also comes across as a jerk on Muscle Mayhem and here. He also caused this situation himself. All that said, I'm hating the guy, I'm genuinely shocked that he lost everything and to see what was always underneath. You look at his frame now and you wouldn't think he had genetics for pro bodybuilding.Merry Christmas.

x2 he's always been a smart ass and a jerk
i think he even said on mayhem that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for him to get below 220lbs, even with no juice, barely any training, and <100 grams of protein a day
rofl...he said he has to actually try and loose muscle. Guess that didn't work out too well for him
glad to see he's not dead though

he's always been an ass as far as I'm concerned. obviously I'm glad he is alive.
there was a thread on Tnation about this a year ago :http://www.t-nation.com/tmagnum/readTopic.do?id=1255095
the guy was always very arrogant and abusive. i think this serves as a reminder that pros aren't always the best source of knowledge and a good, well-built natural can point drug free lifters in the right direction.
I will say this, some pros genuinely don't that much gear, some take ridiculous, lethal amounts. the rumours were always that TP took more than anyone else and he also loved to 'party'
