    Slow reps, or fast + more weight?

    Is it more effective to do really slow reps with a lower weight, or medium speed with higher weight?

    I can't imagine lifting more weight and moving it faster

    resisting the weight on the negative (lowering) part of the movement and using explosive force to move the weight is what builds the most amount of muscle for me. always with heavy weights.Richie
