    Question Timeline till a show???

    What's a standard timeline of a bodybuilding competitor towards the show?

    and what is usually done during that estimated time?

    like when you stop sodium, when to carb out...etc etc...

    just trying to get a rough ideas of things leading to a show





    this is just a rough example (im just putting in random things here) :

    24 Weeks out: bulk up by...
    12 Weeks out: start cutting by ...
    8 Weeks out: ....
    4 Weeks out: ....
    2 Weeks out: ....
    1 Week out: ....

    Keep in mind that how long you should diet is highly variable and depends, primarily, on how much body fat you have starting out. I typically have my clients diet 16 weeks.

    Remember, if you're ahead of schedule you can always slow the fat loss down. But if you're behind schedule there's only so much you can do.
