New NOS ETHER and R4W Log/Review

Now with Citrulline Malate and Cordyceps!
MORE STRENGTH | MORE POWER | MORE ENDURANCE
STRONGER MORE INTENSE PUMPS | LOWER PRICE

Goal For This Log:

I previously did a log on NOS ETHER, without the citrulline malate and cordyceps. I was extremely impressed with this product, and easily the best product for strength gains I?ve ever used. I have gotten my brother, as well as a couple of my friends to start using it very recently. I could go on about how impressed I was, or you could read my previous log/review. And since sponsored logs come under such scrutiny, here?s a pic you might enjoy:

The R4W and top NOS ETHER have been supplied by Mr. Diesel. The bottom three were all purchased by me.

During this log I will be seeing how NOS ETHER can help my strength while on a higher calorie diet than last log. Also, I will do my best to note any differences I notice from the added CM and cordyceps. Since this product targets endurance more now, I will make my cardio a part of this log, as opposed to my previous one.

I will also be evaluating R4W, comparing it to other pre-workout products I?ve used.

About Me:
Age: 20
Name: Brian
Training Experience: 5 years lifting, 2 years serious "bodybuilding" training
Weight: 195-200 lbs
Height: 6'1.5"
Approximate BF: 13% ? (estimate, maybe higher)

Supplements

DIESEL NUTRITION NOS ETHER
DIESEL NUTRITION R4W Caps

Twinlab One-A-Day
Enzymedica Digest Gold
Natrol BioBeads
LifeExtension Fish Oil
AEN IntrAbolic
AEN IntraXcell
I?ve been using RPM or Steel Edge when using a pre-workout product. I will continue that until about day 10, and then add in R4W. All other products have been being used for well over a month, most even longer.

Diet:

I am currently what I would consider bulking/recomp. I am gaining weight at a pretty steady rate, but not on a crazy surplus. I eat about 3000 calories on most days, which believe it or not is enough for me to gain about 1 lb a week at least, even with a very high activity level. I eat basically as clean as possible, because those are the foods I crave at this point, but I?m not opposed to eating a slightly ?unclean? food as long as my macros remain the same.

Training:

Tuesday and Thursday are my only off days. My general split is as follows:

Sunday: Shoulder
Monday: Back
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: Chest
Thurs:OFF
Friday: Arms
Sat: Legs

This isn?t always exact, as depending on soreness and fatigue, I generally work whatever is the most fresh, but that is a pretty good outline.

I also do plyometrics probably 3-4 lifting days a week. Lifting is always followed by 20-30 minutes of cardio, not including the plyos. Most days I will also play basketball, football, or another cardio session. This is how endomorphic I tend to be.

Feel free to ask any questions, but keep them on topic and pertaining to the supplements for the most part. I started my reverse loading yesterday, and will continue to follow the label instructions. Gym is closed today, but Thursday is usually my off day anyway. Tomorrow I will most likely be hitting legs. As for taste, I enjoy the taste quite a bit. It tastes like Sprite/7up, and I enjoy drinking it.

Thanks to Chuck for allowing me to test these products.

Have you been using AEN IntrAbolic and AEN IntraXcell before the start of this log? You really should have cycled off those 2 weeks ago. Esp since they have BA.

I've been on BA for about 4 months, so I figured if I stopped I'd only notice a drop-off in performance. The benefits of BA have pretty much "maxed out" so to speak at this point. Let me know what you want me to do though.

Why would you use Ready for War when you can get RPN from Applied Nutracueticals, are you crazy?

OK, bad joke but my god, a few people at another forum are a bit brain washed, it is like a scientology cult over there. I doubt I will be spending much time. I am in an argument now about how Body Octane should be more beneficial for a sprinter than the Drive/RPN combo. Strong WTF is going on overthere.

On another note, Chuck the new tub of Ether looks smaller than the old tubs, did the ingredient ratios change at all? Also I am thinking that the Citrulline should really add to the flavor of Ether as the old formula really does taste like flat sprite, add the sourness of Citrulline and this stuff is going to taste great. It should not matter but people are sissies, CD makes great stuff. I just got my package of goodies yesterday.

Ya I saw that thread, pretty ridiculous. I like RPM, so will compare R4W to it at the end for Chuck, but still, most think it is the holy grail and refuse to try anything else.

I do feel like I'm enjoying the taste more on this one, but I can't really say what the difference is, perhaps that's it.

Yesterday I continued the reverse load and took some after a long turkey bowl game. Then I ate a lot and watched football all day. Today I wanna hit legs, if they are fresh enough. If not I'll hit arms today and legs tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the first day I take it prior to lifting.

Michael: Yes. Money has been a little tight lately. But, at the end of my life, when I'm sitting on my yacht, am I gonna be thinking about how much money I have? No. I'm going to be thinking about how many friends I have, and my children, and my comedy albums. I mean, I have a yacht, so I obviously did pretty well money wise.

no carbs. Doesnt really change the flavor (but you know I dont care if its bearable, to ok, to great).

Day 3- End of Reverse Loading

I worked legs this morning, and had a great workout. I was in the gym for a very long time doing plyos and cardio, and never tired. I attribute most of that to the excess calories from Thanksgiving.

I just had a bunch of Turkey, sweet potatoes and stuffing. No real damage done, wasn't really out of control at all.

I took 2 scoops immediately PWO, and starting tomorrow I will go to the normal dosing schedule. Only notes about the product so far is that I really enjoy the taste, not that it matters too much to me, but for others.

Also starting tomorrow my updates will be more "official" with weights for every exercise etc...

Thoughts:

Everything was supersetted as I usually do on arm day. I finished the workout with Preacher Curls supersetted with overhead extensions to failure.

Cardio was 40 minutes on the elliptical.

Today was the first day I took NOS prior to a workout. Categories evaluated as follows:

Pump/Vascularity: Extremely impressive pump today, as well as vascularity. My forearms looked much better than normal, regardless of what pre-workout product would be used. Veins protruded more than normal, and sleeves got much tighter.

Strength: Can't really evaluate this much yet, and on arms day. I don't really train my arms for strength, but I'll note PR's if they occur.

Endurance/Lack of Fatigue: As you can tell by my last sets on some exercises, my arms didn't fatigue much at all. My biceps especially tend to lose reps after a set or two, that seemed improved today. Noticed no difference in cardio yet.

Recovery: My legs are as sore as they'd normally be.

Miscellaneous: Nothing else to note at this point.

Ya well forgive me if it wasn't clear enough, but I meant pump and vascularity was much improved compared to other arm workouts, regardless of what NO type product used.

I haven't concluded anything else yet, it's day 4, and day 1 of taking the product pre-workout. What changes were you looking for on day 4??

Well, i thought you were using r4w as well? You havent mentioned any energy increases, and as far as the nos ether goes, it should have kicked in by day 4 after reverse loading for 3 days, right? The way its marketed it makes it sound like its a very potent product, which means you should be looking at fairly fast effects, i can feel normal crea mono after loading for just 3-4 days. But all youve really stated is that you feel more pumped and "vascular" in the gym.Just going by what i read.Apologies if ive misread something.

This was the first day taken pre-workout. It was an arm workout, not legs or back where I'm really looking for pr's, but rather good MMC and working them to failure. The workout was great. What else are you looking for at this point? And what do you mean by feel mono after 3-4 days?

Why don't you stay tuned and wait until I get further into the log. I have shoulders tomorrow, but still, the product really kicked in about 7-10 days last time I took it IIRC.

Why don't you stay tuned and wait until I get further into the log. I have shoulders tomorrow, but still, the product really kicked in about 7-10 days last time I took it IIRC.
The first day taken pre workout?Didnt you say you were following instructions and reverse loading? If thats so then you should have been taking it pre-workout anyway. What am i looking for at this point?Well its supposed to be such an intense product i was going to buy the stack that your trying now, but 4 days and you havent really reported anything but a "pump".Doesent sound so good, but i suppose time will tell. When i mentioned crea mono, i was reffering to creatine monohydrate, which as i stated before has given me more of a boost , fullnes and strength gains after 3-4 days of loading than you have reported from this product so far.And i will stay tuned to follow your progress, good luck!
Btw, whats mmc and IIRC?

Thoughts:
Absolutely amazing workout today. Last week my shoulder presses went 70x8x3, then 75x6. I'm extremely impressed with that gain, can't believe it really. I could have gone 80s I think, but will wait until next week to try, and hopefully will video tape it. I definitely could've gotten 70x10 on the first set, and 75x9 on the second, but I didn't want to wear down too fast.

Cardio consisted of bike intervals in between lateral raise supersets, as well as 35 minutes on the elliptical. I burned many more calories than I normally do for 35 mins.

Pump/Vascularity: Shoulders felt very full early on. Vascularity was above average for a shoulder day.

Strength: Well I was quite frankly blown away at the power I had on shoulder presses. The 70s just felt light.

Endurance/Lack of Fatigue: Definitely improved in the latter sets of exercises. Cardio was also a breeze and a higher intensity than normal.

Recovery: Legs were actually very sore today, but arms have virtually zero DOMS.

Miscellaneous: Not much else to say as of yet.

Tomorrow is back day, which I'm really looking forward to.

Reverse loading is done POST workout, read the directions again. MMC= Mind muscle connection. IIRC = If I Recall Correctly.

Just because it is supposed to be an intense product doesn't mean it shows all benefits instantly. Plus, it was an ARM workout. I don't know what you expect from that. Check my shoulder workout, it was very impressive.

But bottom line, reserve judgement until further on, 4 days isn't enough to determine much. Thanks for the good luck, and just be patient
